  1. I have to chime in on this post. I am only a month out today however I stalled 3 times and the only way to break my stalls was to increase my calories. Sounds strange but thats what worked for me.
  2. Did you do two weeks of liquids post surgery and ease into the solids? How much are you able to eat in one sitting??? It can be that you are retaining water because you are not drinking enough water. I would try going back to the basics of liquids till I spoke to my NUT.
  3. I have a dent but its going down as I loose more and more weight
  4. I have 4 very very small ones and one where the drain was and one where they removed my stomach Total of 6 and they are barely noticeable.
  5. I had a hard time getting my fluids in at first. I have found that plain WATER goes down a lot better than juice or anything else. I just practiced everyday like seriously practiced. Now at almost 4 weeks I can down some water with no problem, now food or ANYTHING heavy is another story.
  6. Looks like I'm the only Gary, Indiana....
  7. WOW!! Im a food addict so like with any other addiction I stay clear of temptations this early in the game. I was sleeved on Oct 2nd and I still cant hang around that now. Wish you luck.
  8. I ALWAYS experience this! I stress eat also!!! What I did was get some sugar free pops and fudge bars. I keep them in the deep freezer that's in my garage not the house freezer. This way I have to walk further to get to them. I normally allot 100 calories of my 650 that I am eating a day for stress eating and if it happens I only eat my s/f pops and fudge pops. It is working great for me. PLEASE stop the candy you dont want to ruin everything now. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
  9. I was sleeved on the second of October, my Dr. had me on liquids for two weeks and I am now on protein shakes and creamy soups till the day after thanksgiving then I can advance to pureed for a week then mushy for two weeks then I can introduce food. I know it sounds extreme but I thank God because it is allowing me to slowly adjust to food again n have less of a chance for complications while my stomach heals. Oh and the 35 pounds in a little over 3 weeks was a PLUS too!
  10. I had extreme nausea had to stay in the hospital two extra days because of it. I went home with pills AND a little circle patch I had to put behind my ear. I just want to tell you to hang in there, it finally went away for me after about a week and a half. Be strong.
  11. Yes you do get tired very easily. I could do like one major thing a day like grocery shopping and I was done. I had to take a nap in the afternoons. That lasted a little over a week.
  12. I didnt not have complications but my Doctor required me to stay in the hospital for 3 days for observation and Im happy I did because those were the most painful days for me.
  13. I would give it a min of two weeks
  14. wow!! Looking good!! Imagine how u will look in 6 months!
