  1. I got sleeved on Aug 14th and I weighed about 301 pounds, I am now down to 269
  2. thats because you didn't follow the directions and you're doing it wrong. in order for it to dissolve correctly you can only mix it in warm water, if you try mixing it in cold, cool, or too hot/boiling water you will start seeing clumps. believe me i ran into the same problem and made sure i only mix it in warm water which is what the directions say.
  3. I ordered some samples. I mixed the Unjury chicken powder with Swanson chicken broth, taste really good. Also recommend mixing it with Ramen noodle chicken seasoning, or shimp seasoning or beef flavor, whatever you like, but i def. recommend adding those additional things to it to make it taste good. be creative.
  4. I finally found something i like and it DOESN'T have any nasty whey aftertaste. ....Unjury Chicken soup! I make the mix with 8z of warm water as directed, then I add an additional 8z of Swanson chicken broth, taste really good! just like chicken soup! a little salty but whatever it doesnt have any disgusting whey taste. Sometimes I also mix it ramen noodle chicken flavor, and shrimp flavor, i keep it creative! yum..
  5. no i havent but i purchased a sample packet when i ordered the unjury chicken soup
  6. i did try it and i did not like, i didnt like the whey aftertaste,. that was one of the first ones i tried.
  7. i just purchased some Protein Powder from Syntrax nectar whey protein, i ordered cherry flavor, i just hope this taste good, but where do i buy soy protein drinks at?
  8. I tried them all and their all nasty, i dont recommend any of them, they all have that horrible whey aftertaste. damn i must of spend so far like $200 just trying different protein powders and shakes and the only one i like so far is bolthouse farms but the sugar is really high, guess thats the only way to mask the whey after taste. i also ate some greek yogurt and that has 20g of protein, but it's really thick and hard to eat, especially since i just got sleeved last week, and also that greek yogurt doesnt have whey so idk what kind of protein is in it and i dont know if thats the right protein i need to have in my body. im so lost right now, must i really down these disgusting whey drinks that taste like garbage? cant believe there is nothing out there that can successfully mask that whey aftertaste, there has to be something out there for me. i need to find something already. please anyone? please help. i just placed an order for unjury chicken Soup, maybe that taste good? who knows, im trying anything right now and desperate to find something that taste good, anything.
  9. I just purchased the following Protein drinks and i will update this when i get a chance to try it. let me know your thoughts maybe someone here has tried these. -FRS Healthy Protein, Orange Creme (25g protein) bought from amazon -Designer Whey Protein 2Go Drink Mix, Lemonade (10g protein), bought from amazon -Protidiet Pink Lemonade Drink Mix (15g protein), bought from amazon. -CytoSport: Whey Isolate Protein Drink (tangerine, 32g protein), bought from bodybuilding.com. has anyone tried these? here are the links http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cytosport/whey-isolate-protein-drink.html http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002XFRESG/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M2C_SC_dp_3 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005DXM426/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M2C_SC_dp_2 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004W6VWZU/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M2C_SC_dp_1
  10. I tried Premier Protein shakes, didn't like it, too much whey aftertaste. I tried Isopure Clear Protein Drink - alpine punch. 40g protein per bottle. i didn't like it too much protein aftertaste, i had to delute it with Water and add crystal light to it to make it taste good lol. -question does anybody know any similar clear Protein drinks like isopure cherry flavored drinks but that actually taste good?
  11. will give it a try, just ordered them through their site, their quite expensive at $5 per serving, but who knows maybe it taste good.
  12. hmm never heard of this brand, not into orange and cream but i guess ill try their chocolate and see if i like it. not really into these powders though, i started this thread to just be about RTD shakes but i guess ill give it a try and see how it taste.
  13. yes i love bolthouse farms too, wish they would put a little less sugar in it.
  14. hmm interesting are those the flavored drink ones or do they come in chocolate?
  15. Just an update for this thread I tried even more Protein shakes. -Special K Protein shake (10g protein) -got from CVS. delicious taste, doesnt have that whey aftertaste, unfortunately it's 18g sugar per serving, and the protein isn't enough daily unless i want to down 6 a day, however it was tasty. -Slim Fast (10g protein) - Also got from CVS, also great tasting, same deal as Special k they also have 18g sugar per serving, but it taste good, no nasty whey aftertaste. however too little protein so i dont want to drink these all day. However I did purchase the Slim Fast High Protein Powder as well off of Amazon and it has double the protein, I will update this thread on Monday when I try it. -Ensure Protein Shake (got from CVS, 25g protein, 5g sugar) - didn't like it, too much whey aftertaste, just couldn't drink it, don't recommend, but kudos for putting lots of protein in it. -Nestle Boost Shake Calorie Smart (got from CVS,16g protein, 4g sugar) I puked it out, couldn't even barely take a tip, extreme whey aftertaste. -Atkins Advantage (from CVS, 15g protein, 1g sugar). Don't recommend, still too much whey aftertaste and just doesn't taste good. -EAS Advantage Carb Control Shake (from CVS, 17g protein, 0g sugar) couldnt drink it, too much whey taste, didn't like it. well so far not so good today, the only shakes I liked and didn't have that disgusting whey aftertaste are the ones with too little protein in it and lot of sugar. I guess the sugar helps to hide the whey taste which is a good thing, i just wish those had more protein in it. So i did purchase more Protein drinks and I will rate them in the next few days. I purchased Slimfast powder high protein, Chicke Nutrition powder, Oh - yea! Protein shakes, and i also will go to Sams Club to buy Premiere protein shakes and ill also go to Vitamin Shoppe to buy BodyTech chocolate. boy this sure is a lot of work to find a shake I like.
  16. lol oh thats why i didnt understand lol thx. well i gotta try since i like shakes that are sweet.
  17. which one was too sweet for you the Atkins or Premier shake?
  18. thanks i totally forgot about slim fast and ill try it
  19. thanks im going to go to sams club this week to try the premier Protein shakes, looks like a lot of people on this forum are recommending that. and those chike meal replacements i gotta check that out and order some and try it even though im anti powder. haha.
  20. Yeah it's 8 miles away, ill def. drive there and check it out and try it. thx.
  21. thanks is the bodytech chocolate a shake or powder? im trying to stick to pre made shakes.
  22. Those problems don't matter to me, I want the simpleness of just opening up a protein shake and drinking it. Yes they are more expensive but cost isn't a matter to me. It's def. worth it since im saving time not having to worry about scooping and mixing and all that mess. I just have to find something good.
