Interesting, I just had a consult and my doctor said Medicaid does not cover the Sleeve? But some of your doctors are still submitting? Are there different kinds of Medicaid? I live in MA, and my secondary insurance is from the State, Medicaid. (MassHealth) They do cover the sleeve. I was just put on Medicaid on Aug 1, so I cried when I found out that Medicare won't cover. I made a call to my Medicaid office, and they said since my secondary insurance is Medicaid if Medicare denies the procedure, and "they" (Medicaid) covers it, then they will approve it. I've yet to call my doctors office but the billing coordinator said maybe by the time I complete all requirements Medicare will cover the procedure.
