  1. Thanks for sharing! I just started this in the crock pot and can't wait for dinner! I didnt drain the Beans so hopefully it still turns out. YUM!!
  2. CW as of today 180.6. So close to goal!!! I'm happy even if I don't make it to 180 tomorrow. This is a huge accomplishment and I'm happy the weight is coming off slowly
  3. I have the sane issue and also had if with my gallbladder removal several years ago. Surgeon just said what everyone else has posted. Trim it with a sanitized nail clipper but don't pull on it.
  4. I get congested and then a runny nose when I'm full. I just take it as a trigger to stop eating. I thinks it's fairly common as it has come up in support group
  5. That's great Kimi! I hope your process goes as quickly and smoothly as mine did Happy Holidays
  6. Sleeved 11/26 by Dr Fisher in Richmond. Had a great experience. Wouldn't change a thing The Richmond program provides so much support and education both before and after surgery. Very impressed!
  7. Checking in with CW of 182.5 !!! Getting lose to my goal of 180
  8. I'm pretty sure I remember people bringing their spouses or significant others to orientation. I think I even remember one if them falling asleep and snoring!! Lol I agree if they do NOT want you to bring someone they will specifically tell you
  9. That's great Kimi! Hopefully things will go as quickly and smoothly as they did for me
  10. Just downloaded. Thanks for sharing!!!
  11. Purchased some NewGel today....anxious to see how it works
  12. NSVs = Non scale Victories
  13. My first NSVs! Surgery date 11/26 weight loss since surgery 10lbs, total loss since starting WLS process 24 1. Can go up and down my stairs at home with NO knee pain or constant knee joint popping 2. Have had 2 people who do not know I had surgery tell me I look like I've lost weight!! 3. My rings are too loose and will need to be sized 4. I can zip up my boots without using pliers Even though the scale only shows a 10lb loss since surgery the NSVs are more than making up for it!!!
  14. Yay!! Keep me posted on the progress
  15. Congrats Kimi! I'm excited for you... Did you get referred to Fremont like you hoped? Jules
  16. Congrats!!! Hoping you have a speedy recovery
  17. Checking in with CW of 190.0. 10lbs to goal!!!
  18. I was 199 on my day if surgery so I too had/have much less to lose than some people I had done WW, NutriSystem, LA Weight Loss, and prescribed phentermine. Lost 30 lbs on WW but gained most of it back I can relate to what you're doing . I'm 13 days post surgery and down almost 10lbs for a total of 21lbs since starting the WLS process in September Good Luck with your journey! Jules
  19. I wondered the same thing. I KNOW my weight will not come off in my breasts (family history and weight loss experience tells me this) so am planning / hoping for a reduction and lift. Am curious how long the Dr will have me wait and how much weight I will need to lose before they approve the surgery Guess I'll make an appointment and find out
  20. I had the same feeling 3 days out, crying and depressed and doubting my decision to do this to myself but Day 4 was MUCH better! Hang in there... Every day gets better
  21. Day 3 was a difficult one for me. Full of tears and wondering what I had done to myself... Day 4 was a complete turning point. Things have been great ever since and I haven't looked back or had any regrets since Hang in there! It gets better I promise!! Jules
  22. I have the iPad 3 as well and have no issues either How weird!
  23. Wow! Congratulations!! I am also one week out but have no where near the loss you do. You're doing GREAT! Keep up the good work Jules
  24. I feel like I'm getting around normal most of the time. I really have no soreness or pain unless I move wrong and then my side will hurt. Other than being careful with bending and lifting I'm doing pretty much everything as usual Let me know how Thursday goes and what you think . Hopefully your experience will be as quick and easy as mine has been Jules
