  1. Congrats on 20lbs down!! OMG that's wicked awesome! It's definitely gonna make it easier to make good choices when you have great results like that. Keep it up and if you struggle...you know we are all here for you!
  2. I have those too. And I'm starting to gag from them. I'm thinking of sending away for the sample unjury pack. I think I will order it in the morning.
  3. It's gonna be ok. Just realize that maybe this is for the best. If he had an emergency that made him cancel then maybe it's best he did instead of being distracted with you on the table. It will happen next week and it wil be here before you know it. I cannot believe its my turn in less than 6 days. Hugs! Take care and don't let anything psyche you out.
  4. I just tried mixing my plain fat free Greek yogurt with my chocolate protein powder and SF chocolate pudding mix. I could not stand the thought of another shake. I'm allowed a yogurt as a snack as part of my daily dairy intake per my pre-op diet directions. And let me tell you...it was yumm-o!
  5. Definitely need to share what that is...lol.
  6. I started my pre-op diet yesterday. The headache yesterday and today is atrocious. And everyone around me keeps talking about food. And it's all I see people doing. Ugh. But it's hitting me that things don't suddenly change the day of surgery, though it it is the most dramatic change. However we all have been changing from the moment we made the choice to pursue this process. The pre-op diet is just one more in the long line of many changes that we are making. And as overwhelming as it can seem...it's so freaking exciting I cannot even describe it! Ok rambling over. pre-op sucks but I'm gonna get it done!!
  7. Great to hear from you! That's so awesome that you're doing so good. Keep it up!!
  8. Looking very handsome! Keep up the great work!!
  9. I'm pretty much the Gen-xer too. Born in 1978. However, my parents were kids when they had me so I kind of grew up with them. I loved anything Hanna barbera. Let me add on to the usual 80's subjects with some late 70's. jabba was, huckleberry hound, Josie and the pussycats, old bugs bunny, etc. I'm also an 80's music fan but more so 70's and older. And my favorite musician is Van Morrison. I'm often called an old soul. Same thing with shows. I grew up watching bonanza repeats, small valley, any movie with John Wayne or Maureen o'hara. But also more recent like anything with Mike Myers, the American Pie movies, etc. but my all time favorite movie is and always will be hair. And the soundtrack too. I'm kind of an in-betweener. Lol.
  10. You are only restricted by you and the effort you are willing to put into the process. Just put one foot in front of the other and get 'er done. Take it one pound at a time and if need be, break it down to one ounce at a time. It will happen!! Good luck and hugs to you!
  11. I'm a November Sleevers but I could not resist posting when I saw your surgery date. It's my birthday and I happen to think its a fabulous day to be reborn. Lol. Good luck and it will be here in no time!!
  12. Prayers sent up. Good vibes sent to you and well wishes sent to you too. Everything will be fine.
  13. Could definitely be the flu. 'Tis the season after all. Or it could be another bug altogether. Or it could be that you didn't eat and so you didn't put your stomach through its normal functions so its now rebelling. Sounds crazy I know, but it does happen.
  14. I'm really happy for you! It's great to hear people coming off their meds. Have a great time losing and I look forward to the next update!!
  15. That is awesome. You look so beautiful. Keep up the great work!
  16. Congratulations...I hope you have a speedy recovery and rock your sleeve! Keep us updated!
  17. Good. I hope it goes by easy for you. Keep us all updated. We're here for you! Hugs...
