  1. You could try adding some honey or sugar free jam (seedless and smooth) to your greek yogurt until you can have it with fruit.
  2. Congratulations!! Good luck!
  3. Fantastic! Congratulations on your success!! Happy New You!!!
  4. Best of luck and prayers to you today and for a smooth recovery!
  5. Have you tried the unjury chicken Soup? lots of Protein and I found it went down really easily. Good luck!
  6. Sleeved 12/11, down 22lbs. Good luck everyone!
  7. Thanks, I forgot to mention the temperature issue. Under 140 is required ( it will also get very clumpy at higher temps). I have one of those infra-red thermometers and helps greatly for the hot cocoa and the Unjury soup.
  8. Congratulations! and good luck while you recover. Happy New Year!
  9. I had shots right before my surgery and the next day in the hospital, and was not required to continue at home. My understanding is that they look at your history and see if you are predisposed to blood clots, or have had clotting issues before. I'm not sure if some require it of everyone. Good luck!!
  10. I use my chocolate shake mix with warm milk, tastes just like a creamy hot cocoa and lots of protein.
  11. AWESOME! I got sleeved the day after you and have had pretty much the same recovery, WHEW! I think as important as it is to see the risks, the successes are just as important. Best of luck going forward!!
  12. I'm so sorry for your loss. You most likely hit the nail on the head by saying you haven't been taking care of yourself like you should. You have been through a lot, but have done so well so far. A 60lb. loss in 9 weeks is huge. Try to get yourself back on track and take care of you. You know what you have to do. It is great that you looked for support... you've got it! There is not a one of us here that can't relate to how you feel on some level. You can do this, remind yourself how far you have come and what your goals are. You CAN do this. Take care.
  13. Best of luck to you today and for a smooth recovery!!
  14. You can do this! Only 5 days away and they will go fast. Best of luck!!
  15. Yeah you indeed!! Congratulations!!
  16. I'll join the line of folks congratulating you!
  17. I was sleeved 12/11 and started pureed foods yesterday. I had a shake this morning, for lunch I pureed some chicken salad with just a tiny bit of cranberry sauce on top (YUMMY) For dinner I had about 2oz of Ricotta bake and half of a 1oz. pureed turkey meatball. To get in my Protein I mixed my shake mix with warm milk for a hot cocoa tonight. no problem getting my Water in for the last few days. Good luck everyone!!
  18. I had my surgery last Tuesday and came into the office this Monday. No problems. I do get up and walk around just to move a bit. But other than that, I was fine to come back.
  19. Hey, Glad to hear you're doing better. I was sleeved on Dec. 11 and have not had many issues other than some gas the first few days. I was stressed the first few days worrying I was getting all my Fluid in but after day 4 all was well. Getting fluids in not an issue and I progressed to pureed food yesterday. sugar free Jello has been a god send. I use it to take my crushed pills and find it goes down really smooth. Best of luck going forward!!
  20. Listen, you can beat yourself up, but only for a minute or two. You can't change it, but you know how it made you feel and you know the physical ramifications (blood sugar). I keep reminding myself that (fingers crossed) this is the last diet I will ever be on. When I've lost what I need to, I should be able to have a little of something and it not ruin anything or send me on a downward spiral. That was the biggest reason I had for choosing the sleeve. You slipped up. I'm sure most of us will. It's what we do next that is important. Walk a little extra today, make a healthy treat that everyone can share instead of you being left out. I don't envy you having to be surrounded by extra temptation. Being a lover of crap carbs myself, I feel your pain. Take it day by day and don't deny yourself, just have a better choice for you available. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine. A slip is not a failure, it's just a slip.
  21. My first two days I used 1oz medicine cups alot. I measured my water and my shake/broth to make sure I didn't take in too much. I also purchased small size spoons and forks to help with portions. Gas X strips and Vitamin water zero were a big help too. I was off pain meds the day after I came home. Tylenol worked perfectly well.
