  1. Sept 11. When I'm full, I get a feeling of full. Depending on what it is I'm eating it seems to sit on my chest for a few mins (tuna) or just feels like a little pressure (yogurt) but it depends on what I've consumed.
  2. It was probably too soon after your pills and protein. I'd wait longer between, give it at least a half hour/45 mins before you have something after the protein.
  3. But did you eat or drink close to eating the Popsicle? What you describe is how I feel after 2 bites of tuna. I'm two weeks out today.
  4. How long after you'd eaten?
  5. I put mine in pig tails. It comes to just between my ears and shoulders, a stacked bob growing out. The pig tails held for my entire three day stay with a little tightening.
  6. I'm so happy to have this forum!!!! I'm so excited to see so many people close to home! I spent yesterday hauling myself around the big e. Six hours of straight walking. What a glorious workout! I had some clam chowder (about 5-6 spoons) and some lemonade that I shouldn't have because of the sugar, but it was SO good. Last night when I got home I had two tablespoons of tuna and fell asleep like a baby. This really has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. I've always been an "other people first person", in both my personal and work life, so to have this surgery was a huge deal for me. I'm so happy i did!
  7. My bmi was 51. I was sleeved 2 weeks ago today. I'm already down 25lbs.
  8. Hooooorayyyyyy!! That's fantastic!!!!!
  9. You look great!! Congratulations!!!
  10. Well hello there beautiful!!! You look awesome!!!!!
  11. I was a D before I got really heavy. I'm hoping and praying I can just lose my band inches and not my cup size!
  12. I'm down 15 so far. I didn't have a nutritionist at the surgeons office. I've had an increasingly persistent cough since being released from the hospital though. No fever or other symptoms of a cold. And no acid reflux. Can't wait for this to be gone.
  13. Tomorrow morning is my appointment for my two week follow up. What do they do? Will it be with the surgeon, or his nurse? Thanks
  14. I had horrible hiccups! From shortly after I came out of anesthesia until the second day. It was awful!!!! I asked if it was normal and the nurses told me to ask my surgeon. I have my 2 week follow up tomorrow but i really haven't had them to that degree again.
  15. Mine came out on day two. It was uncomfortable. It felt weird, I don't know if snakes is the right word for me but I felt it coming across my body. It was pressure... It wasn't excruciating pain, but it was unlike anything I've ever felt.
  16. I'll be two weeks out on Tuesday and I've never once thrown up. Knock on wood because vomit is my biggest phobia ever. But yeah chips are greasy and also salsa is spicy and we aren't supposed to be eating greasy/raw/spicy things so soon. My doctors plan will have me just off pureed and onto soft foods at three and a half weeks.
  17. New Haven. I'll be in New Orleans in a few weeks! Cannot wait. Slightly sad that I won't be eatin y way through the city but hoping dr says a bite or two of red Beans and rice is ok!!
  18. I think usually painful urinating is a standard. Of course there are no absolutes but I can safely say that for myself, pain while tinkling was always my big indicator. I get so angry when doctors offices take their time callig back on emergency weekend calls. I understand not everything is an "emergency" but you've had a lifechanging surgery and you deserve to feel comfortable while healing. Be a thorn until you have a satisfying answer.
  19. Call the surgeons office again. This is unacceptable. Pain like that "could" be from kidney stones but they should have mentioned something about passing them or breaking them up. I had a uti after surgery from my catheter and it hurt but mostly only when I was peeing. It sounds like the people in the ER don't know the possible complications of bariatric surgery. My doctor went over that with us and advised us always to call the office before going to the ER. Please feel better soon.
  20. My doctor is making me take pepcid chewable. They're hard to find but my local drugstore (cvs) has a store brand that's the same thing.
  21. Yikes! Like your loss not your agony! Dear lord charlie horses are the worst. I get the thigh ones if I try to bend my legs too far. Apparently 325lb me isn't as flexible as 20 years and 200lbs ago me. Who knew. There is a sugar free/reduced sugar plum juice that we buy for the clients at work that is a gentle way of moving things along. Sunsweet plumsmart I'm pretty sure is what it's called. I know it has some natural sugars and carbs but in small amounts for this specific reason it shouldn't hurt. We give it to a diabetic and it's really made a huge difference for him without effecting his bloodsugar. Sorry to hear your victory today was clouded by also being uncomfy!
  22. I'm only 11 days out and I've already noticed my feet look less "swollen". I cannot wait to be able to wear boots that go over my calves. I know I have a long way to go but just the thought that it could happen is amazing!
