Sleeved 9/17, Going Good So Far!

Thanks for all of the well wishes! I didn't have any major complications BUT something did happen that I didn't expect, hiccups. I caught them my second day in the hospital and I can tell you that was one of the worst experiences in my life! Everytime I would hiccup, it was like Tyson was taking body shots and the pain was paralyzing. I had to stay in the hospital an extra day because of those damn hiccups. Did anyone else have this issue? Other than that I'm up and moving! I'm done with clear liquids and have moved to full liquids, and can move to soft/pureed foods on Friday. And the good part, I'm 30lbs down from last Monday! I hope everyone else who was sleeved 9/17 is doing well!

Congrats in your lose so far. I fell your pain. I had this horrible hiccups followed by burping for about half an hour one day after surgery. Worst experience ever. :(

My surgery was 18th im 6 pounds less.

I had horrible hiccups! From shortly after I came out of anesthesia until the second day. It was awful!!!! I asked if it was normal and the nurses told me to ask my surgeon. I have my 2 week follow up tomorrow but i really haven't had them to that degree again.

I was sleeved on Sept 17 did pretty good in the hospital and stuff. Just having trouble getting in my water and liquids. Have suffered with slight headaches and the gas pains are horrible. Incisions hurt. Other than that i am fine. I will get weighed when i go to the doc office on Oct. 4 for 2 week check up.
