It's done!!
Surgery went well, no complications ~ spent about 2 hours in recovery, and have been in my room now about 3 and a half. Have been diligently taking in my ice chips and Water sips ~ 1oz at a time over 20 minutes. Definitely not as hard as I had thought it would be!
Feeling pretty good ~ much better than I had prepared for!

My weight finally moved!!!! I am so happy about how wonderful my experience has been. Other than than 5 - 6 wk stall, I couldn't be better. I am 9wks out. I have never vomited or dumped. I am officially under 200 today, and I played my first outdoor soccer game after my surgery. I was without my typical pain and exhaustion. Surgery date was June 5 and I am down 57 pounds. My first two months were tough with nausea and vomiting. I regretted my decision almost everyday and now I love it!!!!!

I'm not sure how much I'm down now. I've been without a scale of my own for a while now, but I think between fifteen and twenty lbs. I have gone from a size 22 jeans to a size 15 junior and I got those last week. Now they are falling down.

I'm four months out. I've never posted pics and I figured now would be a good time. At the request of a wonderful friend from the forum, I reluctantly took this pic. I have to find the before pic from before. I lost a ton of weight in this last month. The change in the pics from now and the one from last month floored me. And I live in this body!!
Taken today
Today as well
Taken a month ago.

Thank you both so much!! I wish I was at goal now, but I noticed how fast I seemed to have dropped within this last month. I am so happy this has finally come to pass. Just a year ago, I would look at others before and after pics and cry. We are all on our way to a healthier life!!

I wouldn't worry too much about stretching your pouch. It takes a lot more than one meal. It's not only OK, but important to allow yourself to have an occasional day where you indulge yourself (although not to the "bursting" point LOL). Remember the Prime Directive - your lifestyle changes have to be sustainable. Set the bar too high and you're setting yourself up to fail. An occasional indulgence is part of life and perhaps more importantly, part of living your life as opposed to just going through the motions.
punk.rock.mama - I don't have the slightest doubt that you have the very best of intentions. But what you're describing is "stacking" (aka "grazing") and that is a really bad idea. The goal is to finish every meal in roughly 20-30 minutes. Never eat less than two hours or more than four hours apart. You're gonna love the new you!!
