  1. I, also, am scheduled for surgery on July 18th, and am doing the same thing. I look at the pre-op diet (which my dr gave) to kind of get on track for surgery before the restrictive two week pre-op surgery starts and I do great in the morning! But, by evening...I'm craving things like crazy, thinking it will be my last time to have something and I want it, even though it's something I didn't necessarily eat a lot of before. I'm glad that there is a term for it...food funeral.....I like that...but like all good things that end, they also have to be put to rest at least for a little while! I feel better now, knowing that I will eventually be able to eat some of faves again, but less of it, I can deal with that...thank you for sharing the information and posts!
