  2. My only complication was being dehydrated on the day of surgery because my surgeon told me to have my last clear liquid meal by 6 pm the day before. The nurses couldn't get an IV started and after 5 sticks I ended up having one on the inside of my elbow where they normally draw blood. Created a lot of problems with the IV alarm sounding off every time I bent my arm. Now on my 3rd day postop Im struggling to get in all of the liquids. Doing the best I can but if I drink more than 1 sip every 4-5 minutes I get nauseaous. 1/2 cup of sugar free jello is taking me all day. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier.
  3. I had a shared room post-surgery and I was told I was too tiny to have the surgery by my hospital roommate. I'm 5'4 1/2" and was down to 208 by the date of surgery. I'm on my 3rd day post-surgery and hoping I've made the right decision. Fatigue and nausea are my constant companions. I tell myself I've done this for the "longhaul". So far I can tolerate water and a tiny bit of jello
  4. Got my Sleeve on 5/22. Day 3 hardly any pain but having a hard time getting in all the liquid. If I drink more than 2 sips I get nauseous. Lost 38 lbs preop but still afraid to weigh now, still puffy
