WOW! Our thread is 20 pages! It's really getting real guys!- Dr. Kelly?
Getting back on course, I hope you hear from him, and get all your questions answered accordingly. Ultimately, he either will or won't be the doctor for YOU. Personally, I think the things said previously on here would make me question my decision if it wasn't for the fact that I already HAVE decided (and feel comfortable with my decision). Ultimately, this IS MAJOR SURGERY AND NOT A VACATION, so my expectations are not on sightseeing and shopping. My expectations are on excellent medical care, healing, and ME. So for those reasons, I am very comfortable! Again, Benin, good luck...and sorry for the cat fights! Lol- Dr. Kelly?
I haven't had surgery yet, and am going alone. I think I would be slightly put out as well if I was being ignored while they (Omar or Cecy) are taking care of other patients family members. People need to bear in mind not all of us have a support system. If I am feeling like I, the paying patient, am being overlooked because of other people's support system, I hope I have the balls to tell him or Dr. Kelly that. If they are wanting to be a tour guide for additional family members going, then they need to hire more help to do so.- Made Myself A List For Stuff To Have At Home After Surgery....
I have that too!!!- Surgery Postponed Due To Thyroid Issues....help!
In the 100's? You've got HYPOthyroid big time! I have no advice for you, I'm sorry. I haven't been sleeved yet. I don't have a thyroid, so I struggle with my numbers never being right. I do ask for frequent blood test checks, though because I can tell when it's slightly off. My facial skin feels lke I need to buff it with a pumice stone! Lol. Good luck!!- 5 Days Post Op!
Congrats! Can't wait to be post op either- Breast Reduction Before Vsg
I had a reduction from a DDD to a small C (my choice) 15 years ago. Upon weight gain, they are back to a DDD, just looking straight instead of at my toes, now. VSG wls scheduled for 8/23. I have a feeling my post reduction small C is gonna be even smaller when all Is said and done. Curious to see what the boob future holds, as well!- Sleeve Tomorrow!
Great job! I can't wait to be on the post op side as well! I live reading others experience!- Made Myself A List For Stuff To Have At Home After Surgery....

I have sprint. Couldn't get an international plan. They suggested I turn off roaming for talk, text and data so I don't get those charges. By doing that, I will be able to still use my iPhone Internet where wifi is available, such as at the hotel. I will stay in touch with my family via emails and Facebook with free wifi.- Made Myself A List For Stuff To Have At Home After Surgery....
I have my butt wipes! Lol. Already in my carry-on!! Forgot to put it!!- Made Myself A List For Stuff To Have At Home After Surgery....

- Dr. Kelly?
I understand. He responds back to me very quickly. I normally text him saying I have more questions, to call me when he gets a chance. You have to do what's best for you though. Since I haven't BEEN there yet, I only have verbal preop experience. Best of luck making your decision. I know when I started the process, the first doctor that came up on the google was one that was cheaper, I don't want to name throw, so I won't say who, but I wasn't comfortable with things I read during my research. But then again, I don't like to request info, get the info, and then the coordinator calls me everyday for over a week. It's like they are trying to make a sale (literally). So, I really like the lack of a sales person for Dr. Kelly, but maybe he does need another worker?- Sleeve June 19 And Really Hating It.
Oh no! I hope your doctor figures out what is wrong. Maybe a stricture or a twist? Feel better soon.- Dr. Kelly?
Dr. Kelly doesn't use a coordinator any longer, so not sure what website you used. His work # is 1-619-793-4869. His assistant, Omar's cell is 1-619-395-5347. Their website address is wlsclinic.com. Their email is info@wlsclinic.com. Im going August 23rd and am very happy with my decision based on all I've read, and the people I have been in contact with who have been there. - August Sleevers?!
