  1. :opps2: sorry...didn't know it was that high !!! wow. Do you belong to a credit union? sometimes they offer a decent rate .....best wishes....
  2. I dreaded to tell him.... after all, he witnessed all the weight loss plans, the videos, the machines, the successes and the following lapses back to fat. fatter fatter and fatter. I just sat down and said... I've decided to do something...I hope you will back me up...but regardless, I'm doing this. I then told him about the surgery. At first he was mad...why SURGERY?? are you crazy?? I just walked away. No arguing, no fighting. Later he came to me and said...If it's what you want to do....I'm with ya. He is going to the seminar with me on May 16th. ( I haven't mentioned the approx $5000 it will cost out of pocket....just working alot of OT to try to save ! ) Good luck.
  3. www.capitalonehealthcarefinance.com seem to offer low rates
  4. If this is the first time you've been denied....keep fighting! Sometimes it seems they deny with the hope you will give up. Remember bugging your mom when you wanted something ? You kept on bugging her till she said Ok. Hang in there, keep trying. Good luck to you.
  5. I had a reduction 2 years ago. No sensation problems at all. Most of the scaring is minimal the worst being on the sides under the armpits. I do not regret it at all. Just wish I'd done it sooner and that the doctor made them smaller than they are. I tell everyone .... I went from a 42 "LONG" to a 40 C
  6. I work in a hospital and every doctor I ask, recommends the band over the rny. I also have seen many people that I work with who had the rny have multiple problems. There is one girl who has been sick constantly since her surgery.... feels weak, dizzy, nauseated, extreme high anxiety, severe anemia... she told me she wished she never had it done ! At least with the band, if you have any problems the band can be removed. This is my first post here....I am just at the very beginning of my journey. I am planing to attend my seminar on May 16th. Being in the healthcare industry...believe me....I have done my homework. I was very grateful to find this site because of the honesty of the posters. It's good to hear all sides of the issue. I really love the support that everyone shows to each other.
