  1. most likely next week or the week after is when you can have the strained cream soups
  2. Warming up the protein isn't good it changes the texture... are you using Protein powder? If so mix it in a blender with a tablespoon of sugar free pudding mix, it will thicken up nicely, I also add in yogurt or Peanut Butter.
  3. I also wasn't on a pre-op diet... my doctor wanted whatever weight loss that could occur to happen. Then I am sure that bowel prep cleaned everything out
  4. Last I heard medicare/medicaid required a six month doctor supervised diet plan
  5. I can drink water, crystal light, etc pretty much none stop it passes so quickly if you are taking small drinks
  6. At what point can you usually start eating protein bars?
  7. My internal stitches still cause me pain also. I have one incision that is nearly healed but it is causing some pain too
  8. You might be entering into starvation mode once the calorie intake increases you will start losing again.

  16. Post op you just aren't hungry so that is what helps keep you from cheating.

  18. now you are lucky to get sushi... I was told three months the same for salad. I told my mom at brunch yesterday that I miss a salad... I got a small bowl of grits and a scrambled egg with cheese. Only ate about tablespoon or two
  19. I had a lot a chest pain the first few days from the gas pumped in. I wasn't cleared for yogurt until 2 weeks out but I don't even eat the stuff, however I do mix it in my protein shakes. I will take a sip of protein then a sip of water.
  20. I am no where near 2 months only at 2 weeks, but in a few weeks I am to be going up to 900 calories a day
  21. I was told no sushi until at least 3 months post op
  22. The doctors should tell you how many grams of protein to have... mine says 50-70 grams of protein for women
  23. If you aren't eating enough calories your body enters into starvation mode and you will not lose weight. I was told to eat 900-1000 calories day of the right foods.
