  1. Looked up the post above and read protein ice cream... now I think I have to go get an ice cream maker LOL
  2. I was told 3 months for Crunchy Veggies and Fruit... Although I have had a few shreds and they have sat well with me
  3. That was the first on to heal for me. The one taking the longest is the long on the right side. I had thought it was infected, but when the doctor office looked at it they said it was healing and the leaking from mine was the internal stitches dissolving, I have had two of the stitches dissolve on the bottom and slide out of the incision..
  4. Lissa thank you for that answer... I know that Crystal Light and such I can drink about 1/4 cup in two swallows or such. Milk or such has to be a smaller swallow.
  5. I was reading a post from a blogger that she recommends you call the company and see if they have samples they can send. You don't want to spend a bunch of $$$ on something and not like it.
  6. look for sugar free... you don't want to undo any of the work you are doing
  7. I was told it can irritate your stomach and increase appetite. Mine recommends 3 months

  9. If I was sitting, lying or walking there wasn't much pain. Most of the pain happened for me getting in or out of bed, getting in or out of chair... but it quickly would pass to a dull ache. But at 7 weeks after surgery I am very happy to have gone thru it! Just remember if you are in pain let the staff know!

  11. I don't even own one! I wait until I go see my NUT so my next weigh in will not be until JUNE 21 unless I make a stop by there...
  12. If you have upped the excerise you need to up your intake... your body is thinking it is starving so it is saving every drop it can. Think about a solider eating a MRE most of them are 3600 calories... because they are burning thru it and it is still possible for them to be losing weight during this time.

  14. I see you said you took a Gas-X, my surgeon has placed me on Omeprazole for the next year to reduce stomach acid. Are you on a daily acid reducer?
  15. I waited to 3 weeks post op before returning... if I wasn't moving.. I was sleeping it seemed
  16. Mine keeps you off raw foods until three months... to avoid possible food posioning from it
  17. LOL Dr did tell me that every 2-3 days is normal and make sure you get LOTS to drink
  18. I was eating it at about 4 weeks out
  19. it is off my okay list until 3 months post op
  20. This is what I did for my BCBS, plus I was told from doctor office that the 6 months was not required by NC BCBS.

  22. I haven't gotten any so far only thing I have gotten is a pair of shoes.... My current clothes are just fitting better... I want them falling off before I get buy anything also
