  1. Happy Birthday Mary & Trish!!! Sorry I missed you gals birthdays earlier when I posted to Kelly. How on earth did I miss both of yours? *scratching head here* I hope that you both had a fantastic day!!! You both definately deserve it!!! Hugs, ~Kelly
  2. You look fantastic dahling!!!
  3. Congratulations!!! How is the nursing going? I'm dying to know!!!
  4. Count me in girls! I just went to a Project Fresh class 2 nights ago and got a Calcium brochure. I was shocked to learn how easy it would be for me to add in somemore calcium in my diet each day. (I'm probably in dire need of it!) I was also in shock to read this on the brochure: Too much salt (sodium) and Protein can spell trouble for bones, too. Both cause calcium loss, which is a problem when your diet is low in calcium. Caffeine also causes a small amount of calcium loss. (Salt, protein, and caffeine are only a problem when calcium intakes are very low, another great reason to get enough calcium everyday!) So that settles it for me ladies! I'm totally there! We go shopping tomorrow, and I will be sure to pick up some yogurt, ice cream, cheese, sour cream (great for making snack dip out of), and baked Beans (beans have 150mg of calcium in a 1 cup serving!). I will post the list on this brochure here too, and that may help everyone figure out which products pack the most punch. Good luck everyone!!!!
  5. I'm so sorry to hear of this loss. Animals can be a better friend sometimes than a human. May you be comforted in your time of loss.

So glad to hear that things are coming along. Mega props to you for sticking through it. You're a wonderful woman!
  7. Good for you! How impressive!!!
  8. Sounds good! I make my venison burgers with 1 to 2 pounds of burger, 3 eggs, and either some breadcrumbs (Italian flavored ones are the bomb!) or some oatmeal, as well as some onions. They stick together great and make a very tasty burger! P.S. Sometimes I add in spices like garlic/onion salt, parsley, basil too. It adds to the flavor nicely!
  9. NewLife, I use a strawberry flavored Isopure powder. I know that GNC has it in different flavors too.
  10. Get better soon!
  11. So sorry to hear this. My husband went through the same thing right after Christmas. It sucked but he likes his new job much better. I pray that there is something even better out there for you!
  12. Ooooh! I'm so glad that you had a wonderful weekend with them! How sweet of her to leave that for you.
  13. CONGATULATIONS!!! That is awesome!
  14. I wasn't in dance, but my little sister was. You were a cute kid Lisa!

Yep, DSL is the bomb! The only reason we can afford it is because SBC has one heck of a good deal on it right now!
  16. I use Isopure. It contains 50 grams of protein per serving, and comes in different flavors. Most GNCs carry it, or you can purchase it at different places online. It was the best that I could find.

I've never had sushi but I'd love to try it!!! I love seafood, so I'd probably like it.
  22. Ditto to what everyone else has said. May you find peace in this difficult but joyous time.
  23. My doctor said that I could eat my 3 meals each day plus 2 small Snacks if I needed them. I was told what a snack size was though, and it's basically enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Not a meal size snack (like I ate before I was banded). I hope this helps some. I basically try to pay attention to my body though. If I'm not hungry I don't eat. Before I got banded if I was offered food, I'd eat it no matter if I was hungry or not. Now I can go to my mom's and have her offer me something, and if I'm not hungry it's easy to say no. Thank the Lord for my band!
