I'm really sorry. It seems like each time I try to exercise, I do something to my body that prevents me from exercising for weeks.
  3. I found a place online that makes pureed foods called Blossom Foods. Things like chicken pot pie, french toast, western omelet, raviolis, meatloaf, chili, and chicken enchiladas. My favorites are chicken pot pie, cheese raviolis, and chili. Look them up on the Interwebz. Good luck with your recovery.
  4. I had a lot of bruising but it was because I was injecting an anticoagulant. I showed my doctor and he said to not worry. But if you are not injecting anything, then I dont know.
  5. Congrats! Be sure to walk a lot and take it easy the next few days.
  6. Don't worry about it. It takes time to build up to that. Just do the best you can. You are still healing and your stomach is still very swollen.
  7. "Pain don't hurt" -- Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse. Best.Movie.Ever! LMAO
  8. I was not able to go on pain killers because of my sleep apnea. They gave me nausea medicine. I won't lie, the first two days were no picnic. but it got better each day. You will have pain meds, so you will be fine. I was back at work on day 5.
  9. Now that you mention it. YES! I've had some really weird issues with my ears. All of a sudden out of nowhere, all I will be able to hear is a loud high pitched sound and everyone else will sound like they are under water. I can barely hear them. At the same time I have also felt a little faint. Hmmm, I wonder what rare and exotic disease I have.
  10. LMAO! Yes, it is a well established fact at work that he is in fact an ass and a jerk. We all know it. Thanks for your support.
  11. For many people their weight issues are very personal and emotional. When I told people at work that I was having surgery several of them tried to talk me out of it. They said I was taking the easy way out. I am not ashamed of what I did and I have no problems telling anyone. Here is a blog about what my boss said. http://jfabulous43.wordpress.com/2012/02/23/taking-the-easy-way-out/
  12. The pain is normal. My pain stayed for a while at the biggest incision site. Try not to use that muscle too much and take it easy for a while. It will eventually go away.
  13. You should start to feel better by Tuesday. Hang in there.
  14. Hang in there! It gets better. We all have buyer's remorse early on. Here is my experience with it. http://jfabulous43.wordpress.com/2012/02/18/buyers-remorse/
  15. Hang in there! Here is a blog entry I wrote about my pre-op liquid diet experience. http://jfabulous43.wordpress.com/2012/02/12/107/ Also, for soft foods, check out Blossom Foods online. They have frozen pureed foods in 5 oz containers. Perfect for our smaller tummy.
  16. I'm 1 month out too. I've lost 46 lbs and feel fabulous. But, I gotta say, WOW! You look great!!
  17. Yep! I've been there. Its not fun but it is SO worth it.
  18. I’m forcing myself to write because I don’t want to. I don’t feel like sharing at the moment. Things with my new stomach are going ok. As of this weekend I have lost 46 lbs. It still doesn’t seem like … Continue reading →
  19. May I ask how you got your tracker on your signature? I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

For some reason it would not allow me to leave a comment on your dating entry. I just wanted to say that I've been telling anyone who will listen that I've had the surgery. Even complete strangers I meet. So far, people have taken it well.
  21. I had that problem and my doctor told me to start taking Prilosec OTC on a daily basis. It worked.
  22. That's Fabulous!! And you look great.
