What Do You Eat?
I usually eat turkey sausages, veggie sausages, string cheese, oatmeal for breakfast. Zone Perfect protein bars are good too. For lunch I get a Lean Cuisine or half a sandwich.

We all go through a stall after surgery. It typically occurs around 3 weeks after surgery. Sent from my iPhone using VST- Emotions Regarding Weight Loss
I know I have not been my cheerful self lately and I am trying to figure out why. I lowered my dose of anti-depressant from 60 mg to 40 mg but I’d like to stay at the 40 mg for …Continue reading →- MyFitnessPal.com Members
Please feel free to add me on myfitnesspal. I'm J_Fabulous- Why Do I Worry?
My stomach made all sorts of noise that first month. My doctor told me don't over eat and I'd be fine.- Lost My Taste For Sweets?
Yes, but it will come back. I now can eat every food I could before surgery...just not a lot of it.- Low Blood Sugar
Yes, OJ is great at this stage. I didn't have that issue because I had high blood sugar to begin with, so it just dropped to normal.- Stalled At 2 Weeks Post-Op.
In the last 4 months I have had 2 major stalls lasting a couple of weeks each. The first one was at 3 weeks out. I think what you are going through is normal and will pass. You have done great so far! Keep it up.- Sippin On My First Protein Shake...

I weigh myself daily to keep myself on track- I Cheated On Pre Op Diet And Feel Terrible!
I don't recommend deviating from your pre-op diet. Having said that, it doesn't look like you ate anything with high fat content. The pre-op diet is to shrink your liver which sits on top of your stomach. The smaller the liver, the easier it will be for the doctor to access the stomach. So, you are fine, don't beat yourself up over one meal. Get back on tract and enjoy the new you.- Is There A Relationship Between Preop And Recovery Rate?
I did 9 days of liquids/Protein Shakes. I started out with moderate pain but it was noticeably better each day. Also, I took no pain medications. I was given Vicodin but I didn't feel the pain was bad enough to warrant it. Pain can be managed. It really only hurts if you move a certain way. If you feel too much pain, just rest for a while. As I said, it gets better each day.- Preparation
You will do great! Don't worry. If you forget something, you can always call and ask about it.- New Here...
Good luck with everything!- A Week Shy Of 5 Months Post-Op....
You sound like you are doing great! Keep it up. We all make poor choices every now and then, but we need to keep the big picture in mind. I'm down 70 pounds in 4 months.- Has Anyone Backed Out And Tried The Pre-Op Diet?
It is very normal to think you can just do this with the pre op diet. I lost 15 pounds in two weeks and thought I should cancel surgery and just keep drinking shakes. It is normal to have cold feet, but I am very happy I did the surgery. I have lost 70 pounds in 3.5 months and feel incredible. It is the best decision I ever made. I know from your side the surgery seems scary, but when you get to my side you will wonder why you waited so long to do it.- Tracking Food Post-Op
I use www.myfitnesspal.com to track my food, exercise and progress. I love that site.- Sleeved 5/17..pain On The Right Side Of My Belly Button..
Pain on the right side is normal and will last about 4 weeks but should get better each day. Yes, you are bruised from the operation and them having to move stuff around to get to where they need to. - 6Weeks Out Pic's
