I have my date. It is March 28, 2012! I am SO excited. I am on day 6 of my 2 week pre-op liquid diet. Day 2 was the worst. I was so hungry. My stomach hurt! I survived and am doing great now. I have lost 18 pounds! It is Crazy! Good luck to all of you!!!

Not being embarrassed to be in pictures with my kids

I can't wait to just go shopping and actually walk out with clothes instead of leaving unhappy because I couldn't find anything that looked right.

I want to go walking with my family and not have to turn back after 15 minutes or gripe the whole time that my back hurts. And I want to cross my legs. It's been YEARS.

I can't wait to wear clothes that don't have an X in the size. I can't wait for my feet to not kill me when I wear heels all day. I can't wait to no longer have deep marks in my back from bra straps. I can't wait to enjoy having my picture taken again. I can't wait to not feel anxious, hot and sweaty in social situations. Oh my, the list could go on and on.

Oh and one more thing. This may seem silly to you but I want to be able to look cute in just a plain ole white tank top and jeans. LOL

I can't wait to participate in picture taking. I avoid the camera like the plague because when I see the pictures, I am mortified. I also can't wait to wear white and not feel/look like the Michelin Man. I mostly can't wait to wake up everyday and my first thought not be about how fat I am and feeling hopeless about changing it.

I can't wait to not have to over think everything...from what am I gonna wear, what if I don't fit in the chair, what if I look like an idiot, where to shop, etc. I'm ready to not be the biggest person in the room! Just to be normal, relaxed and go with the follow because I'm not worrying.

I cant wait to not be so paranoid about going out in public, thinking people are watching everything I do....I also can't wait to travel more....two of my cousins, both around my age, agreed to go on a fun trip with me once I make it 100 pounds lost!!! SO I'm looking forward to that!!

I cannot wait to go the amusement park and not stand in fear awaiting if I will fit in the dreaded seat or not!

I was told there were no driving restrictions.

My surgery is 8am tomorrow, I can't believe it....trying for over 6 month, it's finally here. I only hope I can stop driving myself crazy tonight. Worried about all sort of medical issues that could arise....a little knowledge is deadly.
On another note, I'm so excited to get some help for my weight issues. I'm 51 years old and I'm dog tired of being obese. I'm looking forward to some of my many future goals...riding roller coasters and planes comfortably, wearing clothes from the "regular sizes", and so many more.

I was a basket case the night before mine. It all went so well, I thought afterward, what were you so worried about, this is a peice of cake! I was worked up over nothing. I hardly had any pain, no gas, I was just tired for about a week. You got this girl! Its no big wow. You will back to normal in no time! Get some rest!

Had mine last Thursday all was fine, was the same as you, on worry, but all was ok
