Me And My Sleeve Went On A Cruise!
I am 7 months out-- You can go-- but I recommend you wait, because 1. you will not be able to try all the different foods, and you wont be able to dance like you want too because you will stil have a little discomfort, and you cant drink! I would try to take it before the surgery or 5-6 months afterwards!.

Me And My Sleeve Went On A Cruise!
Hello, So I had a wonderful 7 Day Cruise!! Amazing. So happy I had my sleeve with me on the crusie. Tons of food everywhere. I did have one bad day of overeating were I had to puke but I learned my lesson after that. This was the first time I was around so much free food! When I got home from the cruise I lost 3 pounds tho because I worked out everyday and took the stairs allot. PS. I met a wonderful guy on the cruise, who is now my boyfriend lol who knew I would meet a great guy on vacation lol.

Chick Fillet
Do you mean Chick-Fil-A? If so this is an excellent place in my opinion. I get the kids meal, with Grilled Chiken nuggets, Fruit cup as the side, and the diet lemonaide. Sometimes I do just the side salad which is good too. We all know eating fast food is not as health as eating at home, but the reality is life happens, and socialy we eat out from time to time.SO Enjoy!

3 Month Sleeve Anniversary Today!
I cannot believe 3 months ago this time I was in my hospital room in major pain, but it was all worth it. To date I have lost 62 pounds! It sounds like allot but I have 100 pounds left to go, so I still have a long journey ahead to reach my goal. I work out about 4-5 times a week. Did my first 2 mile marathon 2 weeks ago. I still have not had any bread or pizza since surgery; I did have cake on my Birthday. I think the hardest part, has been with me being opposed with the scale, I weight everyday some days twice just to see. I get mad at the scale when it doesn’t move because I’m thinking, I only had 700 calories today, and it should move everyday lol. The sleeve has become a lifestyle for me now. My best friend just had to go to a buffet so I went with him (total waste of money for me) and to watch him eat, made me feel a little sick, because I used to eat just like that. I was sick at the fact that I used eat plate after plate and could not see that it was a serious problem. I was looking in the mirror at myself eat 3 months ago. Well, I’m moving right along and will never go back to what I was!

2 Month Out Report
I began my Journey on February 6, 2012. I have lost 47 pounds to date. I was not on any pre surgery diet that is the total amount since surgery. I lost 32 the first month 15 the second month. I have been working out about 5 times a week. I am trying to prepare for a marathon. Its only 2 miles but I have been trying to walk 2 miles at least 2 times a week. I have been doing zumba also. Losing the weight has allowed me to exercise without the joint pain! In the beginning I tried to do no carbs, I notice my weight loss was slower during that time. I add carbs back and the weight started to fall back off. I know everyone’s body is different but adding the carbs back worked better for me! I have one premier chocolate protein a shake for breakfast every day; I actually like that shake it is like a treat to me. I have a long ways to go, I want to lose 100 more pounds. Things I have notice after the surgery that I don’t like is I can’t sleep at night. I have a prescription for Ambien now to sleep. If I don’t take it I never go into a deep sleep and wake up every hour on the hour. Maybe it’s because I have more energy now, I am not sure. Pre weight loss I slept like a baby at night 8-9 hours and could take a nap at the drop of a dime!

How To Date With My New Sleeve
Thanks For all your advice!!! I actually ended up doing a lunch date with him. It was something nice to look forward to while at work. I told him I was on a liquid diet and just had the soup which came with some cheese bread that looked oh so good. I gave that to him

How To Date With My New Sleeve
I am 2 week post opp and 29 pounds down!!! A guy wants to take me on a date. He was like can we do dinner, or maybe go to a bar watch a game and grab a beer. I’m thinking I can’t do any of that, I can barely eat, I can’t drink any alcohol. I’m like wow my dating life will be way different now. I guess I can say, "" Hey I only have a small stomach I can’t really eat or drink so maybe we can have a date that doesn’t require any of the above. I feel abnormal. What is everyone else doing, maybe I just have to wait longer until I can eat more or have a drink.
