  12. Mango Peach Green Tea from Crystal Light!!! Can't get enough!!
  13. I told my 4 year old that my tummy was broken, and the doctor was going to fix it so I could play on the floor more easily with him. Kimmie
  14. Omg... You had me at molten... Seriously can't wait to try this!! I have been craving chocolate like crazy this week... Kimmie
  15. I had Dr. Alami... he was so awesome, but I don't think he's there anymore... Finally broke my stall the past couple of weeks, so it's nice to see the scale moving again!! Good luck ladies!! Oh, and you can eat much more liquid.... when you start mushies, you'll be shocked at the little it takes to satisfy you! Kimmie
  16. Hooray!! It just gets better every day! Good luck with your new sleeve from a fellow Kaiser SSF girl! Kimmie
  17. Lost 90 lbs and gained it all back... Very glad I had my surgery! Kimmie
  18. I wore the gown the whole time... Way more practical with all the things you're hooked up to in the beginning... Went home in sweats and a big tee. You will be swollen like crazy! I just spent 4 days in the hosp with a bowel obstruction and I can't believe how pumped full of fluids I am... Probably gained 10 pounds of water... My skin hurt from stretching! Kimmie
  19. Hi everyone, Just got home from 4 days in the hospital for a small bowel obstruction. They gave me an NG tube (tube through nose and down into stomach to drain my stomach and rest my bowels. Way worse than any recovery from my surgery in 12/2011... I just noticed that my mom left some kefir in the fridge, and sipped a bit of that, and I am actually feeling human again. In a way it feels like my first weeks of post op, just less pain. I was shocked at how many medical professionals have no idea about the sleeve... None... I could hear the nurses reporting at shift change that I had a gastric bypass, even though I always corrected them. And I had an NG tube, so there might have been real trouble if I actually had a gastric bypass. The other thing that shocked me was the whole "I told you so..." mentality from people I did not expect to be that way... The obstruction wasn't necessarily a side effect from my sleeve, could have been several things that caused it. But besides, it disturbs me to think how many people are out there wasting their time watching for me to fail... Way to go being supportive... I guess it serves THEM better to have me fat instead of more healthy... :-( Kimmie
  20. I didn't meet the weightloss goal the surgeon gave me, so I was postponed for two months. Kimmie
  21. I am 7 months out, and take pills with no problems! I didn't even have trouble in my early post op time, though the big calcium pills scared me! Good luck! Kimmie
  22. Jasleeve!! My sleeve sister!! Glad to hear from you, and congrats on your progress and recovery from complications!!! I have my 6 month post-op appt in a couple of weeks, though I was sleeved on 12/19/11... I haven't lost as much as you at 196 and hovering... But am happy for the success, and wish you the best in the future!! Kimmie
  23. Oh, sweetie... So sorry for the loss of your brother... Take time to grieve and heal.. Best of luck and hugs for your family... Kimmie
  24. I was okayed for flexeril pretty quickly... I have a lingering injury from a car accident, and that's the only thing that helps me! good luck! Kim
