Swallowing Pills

Can you still swallow pills with water after surgery? I take 8 pills and this is a concern.

    I guess it depends on the size. My meds all had to be changed to capsules and I have to open them up and put them in SF pudding. Can't wait until I can swallow them again.

    My Dr. told me I could take a Prilosec pill right away. After two weeks, I was able to take all my vitamins that are pill form. I take biotin, b50, CoQ10, Prilosec, Magnesium, and Doucolax in pill form everyday. I take a chewable multi, calcium, and iron and my B12 is sublingual.

    I am 7 months out, and take pills with no problems! I didn't even have trouble in my early post op time, though the big calcium pills scared me!
