I'm doing my liquid diet now and it isn't difficult at all...just boring. My surgery is Aug. 31. and the time is going so slowly.

I haven't been as active on here as I should be and I apologize for that. I am having my surgery August 31 and start my liquid diets on 17 August. All prayers and encouragement are appreciated.

I'm curious as to why your sister said that too. I'm really interested In knowing. Also I only have a BMI of 38.8 but they're still doing RNY on me. In fact my doctor was emphatic about saying I should have RNY over the sleeve because of my diabetes.

I was going with the vertical sleeve until my doctor told me emphatically I'd be much better off with the R.N. Y. because of getting rid of my diabetes; which is my main reason for having surgery in the first place. That's how I made my decision. I know it's not much help. Whichever way you decide to go I wish you luck.
