So Has Anyone Else Had To Do The Lovonox Injections
I think I had one while I was still in the hospital. I can't remember if it was before or after the surgrey. It is weird how different do things. I'm glad I didn't have to inject myself.

Relationship With Hubby..better Or Worse After Sleeve Results?
Sorry to hear that Big Man. I agree with Neese. Try to include your wife with healthy eating and exercise. My husband has lost 16 lbs without trying. He's eating better since I'm cooking healthier food. I'm discovered the cook has the power!!! ha, ha. Try to be sensitive to her feelings but enjoy your success.

Week 7! Very Slow Loser
I'm about 7.5 wks out. I've lost 16 since surgery. I'm a slow loser too. I DO realize I started out at a lower BMI. Momof4- yes you must check it out. I realized today though, that in 4 more lbs, I will have lost 30 lbs since pre-op diet and that seems like a lot to me. 6 more lbs and I won't be obese anymore. 7 more lbs and I'll be half way to goal!!!! It's slow but we're getting there! There should be a slow losers section. We can help motivate each other.

Wow!
My husband has lost about 16 lbs since I've starting eating / cooking better. He's 14 lbs from goal without even trying or exercising.

Nsv Almost
Yes, sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. So, for now the realization I'm close to these milestones IS my NSV and when I reach them it will be a SV. Thanks everybody. Love this group.

Nsv Almost
I've been kinda down about my slow weightloss but, I just realized in 4 more lbs I will have lost 30 lbs and that seems like a lot to me. 6 more lbs and I will no longer be obese and in (drum roll please) 7 more lbs I will be halfway to my goal! Yay! Not there yet but, I'm getting there.

Ketones
You can buy them at the pharmacy. They usually cost about $10-$15 for about 50 test strips. They're usually near the diabetic section. Diabetics use them but, low carb dieters do too. I used to work at a weightloss clinic (ha, ha) years ago and they used them there and I think it may have been mentioned in Atkins book(s). The strip changes colors when you're burning fat for energy.

Ketones
Anyone using Ketone ufind test strips to check to see if burning fat? I thought it might cheer me up when the scale is not moving.
