  1. No longer obese! Thank you Jesus! One more pound and I'll be 1/2 way to goal.
  2. I think you're doing great. Check out my stats below. I have hypothyroid. I know it affects my weightloss. Not to mention the years of yo-yo dieting. Maybe post your daily cals, carbs, fat grams... Maybe someone will have suggestions. Don't give up. Keep workin' it. We can do it!!!
  3. It feels funky when they pull it out but it doesnt hurt. Hardly noticed it at all.
  4. I think I was 60% health and 40% vanity. I recently was put on bp meds. Cholestrol & diabetes were just around the corner. I missed feeling healthy and sexy!

  8. I've posted this before but it's to cute not to post again.
  9. I weighed 201 on the date of my surgery. I'm a slow loser. I have hypothyroidism. I lose an average of about a pound a week. I'll be 3 mos out in a couple of weeks. I've lose 31 lbs including my pre-op diet so 50 lbs sounds awesome. I exercise about 6 days a week and my cals average 800 per day. I have no problems getting enough Fluid in. I think you're doing great. Keep it up.
  10. I had surgery 6 days before you too. I'm just now down 30 lbs. I'm doing the happy dance too. I'm almost 1/2 way to goal. I'm happy for you! Keep it up!
  11. Hope it goes well. Good luck and I hope you have a speedy recovery. Let us know how you're doing.
  12. My doc took the fluid out a month before surgery. I delayed the surgery to get ready. I gained 10 lbs but I was eating mostly healthy foods. Chicken, salads & veggies. Stuff I couldnt eat with the band. It was hard to count those 10 lbs as a lose at first since I had just gained them but I gained them so I still had to lose them.
  13. Initially I lost about 80 lbs with the band but then gained 50 back. I was vomiting & sliming everyday. I couldnt eat chicken, turkey or veggies & salad. I couldnt imagine vomiting on a regular basis for the rest of my life. I'm glad its out and I'm losing again. It's alot of work. I exercise 6 days a week. I'm happy I can eat healthy food again. I was always hungry with the band. I just couldnt physically eat. I'm still feel hunger more than some on here. I dont forget to eat but I dont have starving feeling all the time. Its managable.
  14. That's awesome cowgirl! You inspire me.
  15. Woohoo! That's fan-freakin-tastic! Keep it up.
  16. Wow. You look great. Big change in a short amount of time.
  17. I had my surgery on 2/9/12. I just hit 30 lbs down. That includes 10 lbs I lost on the preop diet. I've always be a slow loser and have hypothyroid. I feel pretty good. Still have some fatigue but am walking an hour a day. I'll start gym soon to start trying to build muscle.
  18. Glad they know what it is and hope they can fix it soon. Btw, love the new pic.
  19. Find some skinny middle school girls that don't eat to hang out with. Ha, ha just kidding. I love that commercial. I think we all go through this to some extent and something we have to deal with. We can't eat junk like that because it was killing us. Good luck. You can do it.
  20. Met my first mini-goal today. 30 lbs down. It's been tough because I'm a slow loser so it's a big deal to me. 3 more lbs and I'll be halfway to my goal weight. WooHoo!
  21. Yes I agree. Belly dancing is a fun way to exercise.
  22. I'm sorry you feel that way. Vent away. I hope the doctor figures out what's going on soon and give you some relief. Let us know how you're doing.
  23. I thought we werent supposed to have popcorn for 6 months.
