    Vitamins Galore!

Here's a list of my vitamins: multivitamin, (2 a day) calcium citrate (1500mg) StressB complex, B12 (500mg) Iron (160mg) Vitamin D (25,000IU), Vitamin E (400IU) Vitamin C (500mg) Zinc 50 mg and my two protein shakes. My girlfriend takes two multivitamins and vitamin D. My other friend is having her surgery in Oct and her doctor is allowing her dinner on her liquid diet (salmon and chicken) and she has to take a short every day for two weeks to ensure no clotting. Then she takes her multivitamin and vitamin D. Now...I would say I have to take all of these due to my blood test, but I was in a room with 6 other women who is going to have their sleeve and they got the same standard list I got. Plus we are told we can't eat dairy products....ever! Thanks for sharing

    Vitamins Galore!

I started my two week all liquid diet and vitamins. I am taking about 10 different vitamins. My girlfriend had the sleeve in Feb. and she only takes a multi vitamin and iron. What is everyone else taking?

    Liquid Diet

I am on day one and hungry. My friend had her sleeve in March and she said her doctor allowed them to do jello squares, all she wants as long as it's sugar free. I'm going home to make jello on my cookie sheet. She also mentioned she had warm water with lemon, it made her feel full. I'm willing to try anything, I can't believe I feel this way on the first day!

    From the beginning...

I have been skinny all my life. I went to bed at 39 and woke up on my 40th birthday overweight, blind, deaf. I have been on those yo-yo diets for the last 15 years, so I know how you feel. Especially since my husband and I both went on ww, and he lost a lot and I barely lost anything. So, good for you for taking the plunge and getting your sleeve and taking control of that yo-yo. I've got several friends that have the sleeve and they are so much happier. I am looking forward to getting mine on Sept. 27th! Good luck, and I will continue to read your posts.

    Pre-Op 9/13/11 I'm NOT crazy! :)

When I had my psyc eval, I think I asked as many questions of him as he asked of me. He asked questions like "Do you hear voices when no one is in the room?" "Do you see people that aren't really there?" "Have I been abducted by aliens?" I kept asking him if he really has patients that talk about those things......He kept reminding me we were here to talk about "me" not his job.

    Uh Oh, Hungry

It's my first day of my liquid diet and I'm still hungry. I don't think that's a good sign. Any suggestions of what I can do besides my 3 protein drinks, vitamins and a little broth?
