MsC Gastric Sleeve Patients September 14, 201114 yr Author stats Well... here is my morning pile o' pills: iron supplement (cause I am a girl and we need that), Multivitamin, B-100 (multi-B from Costco), CoQ10, Alpha lipoic acid (helps Type 2 Diabetes), Chromium (ditto), kelp, resveratrol, cinnamon (again, for maintaining level blood sugar), vitamin C, and something for joints with glucosamine and MSM. Before bed I take: magnesium, calcium, vitamin D -- the first two keep muscle cramps at bay. I am just completing day 5 of my 2 week all liquid diet. Not easy but I seem to be getting into a rhythm. At least my head wasn't as foggy today.
robyn54 Gastric Sleeve Patients September 14, 201114 yr Author stats I am taking the multi vitamin (chewable) x 2/day. dissolvable prevacid, biotin and vit b-12. no calcium supplements yet
Pokey Gastric Sleeve Patients September 14, 201114 yr Author stats Here's a list of my vitamins: multivitamin, (2 a day) calcium citrate (1500mg) StressB complex, B12 (500mg) Iron (160mg) Vitamin D (25,000IU), Vitamin E (400IU) Vitamin C (500mg) Zinc 50 mg and my two protein shakes. My girlfriend takes two multivitamins and vitamin D. My other friend is having her surgery in Oct and her doctor is allowing her dinner on her liquid diet (salmon and chicken) and she has to take a short every day for two weeks to ensure no clotting. Then she takes her multivitamin and vitamin D. Now...I would say I have to take all of these due to my blood test, but I was in a room with 6 other women who is going to have their sleeve and they got the same standard list I got. Plus we are told we can't eat dairy products....ever! Thanks for sharing
My Life as Liz LAP-BAND Patients September 15, 201114 yr Author stats I take Flinstones Complete multi (since it has iron in it, I don't need an additional iron supplement. If my multi didn't have iron I would take an iron too). 1 B-12. 1250 (mg I think) calcium citrate (2 500s and 1 250). All spaced out throughout the day.<br>
