  9. Thanks for sharing your story with us. And we all are not perfect as for food choices Like you said the good thing is that we are not eating the amount that we were eating prior surgery. And if you are exercising that helps tremendously. =) Congrats on your weight loss so far, great job!

  13. The hunger is not going away. At least in my case lol. Maybe you could be different . I do get hungry like 2-3 hours after I eat. When you start your mushies it will be a bit different too,the good news is that with small amounts of foods you will be full is the protein shakes helping a little? When I was on my post op liquid diet I ate a lot SG jello and pudding as well as protein shakes and SF popsicles ,. It will get easier as soon as you start eating some "real" food

  18. I eat pretty much everything, except bread, rice or pasta. I still having a hard time with bread or pasta. I tried brown rice once and it was ok. Pancakes or waffles too They were my favorite pre surgery. I can eat potatoes as long as they are soft . I was lactose intolerant for like the first month. Now I am fine with milk. Really sugary snacks make me sick I am having a hard time with chicken too, weird, I can eat sirloin steak ( has to be soft ) but not chicken yet. I Haven't substitute these things for something else yet on my diet.
  19. I guess like you said it depends on your surgeon's schedule, how busy he/she will be for the month. After I completed ll the requirements they called me in about a month later. Good luck!!
  20. Congrats on your decision and it will be so worth it at the end and you won't regret any minute. Best of luck to you

  23. Search for "Nectar" samples, these protein mix are the really good, they taste kind of like crystal light or "juice" and you just mix them with water If you have any questions feel free to message me
  24. Wow. I know that is was only a test but I don't think I can put into my body all those gross foods at once in one day. I am glad that you are sharing your experience and that is how we learn when we try something new to eat after the sleeve (the hard way lol) I guess with the time we are able to tolerate different foods . I think you can have some of those foods once in a while. There is nothing wrong with that, specially since you are exercising Again thanks for sharing your test, that was a lot of junk food for 1 day
