Is there anyone else out there that is required to take mag citrate before having your sleeve done? let me know. I was told to take at least a 1/2 bottle a few dyas before surgery. (i am working the day before surgery) I just dont understand why since they are not re-routing my tubes.

yes I had to drink that stuff before amy surgery,I guess they just want to make sure your system is clean prior surgery. Is not as bad as you think plus it will help you to lose a few pounds

I was told by my surgeron i had to drink 10oz of it the night before surgery.. And i am someone who does not do liquid medication very well, i am so scare of what this tasts like. I hope it is do-able for me.. I am so scared. the doctor said i can buy it at the store, i saw the bottle at Target for 99 cents..

I would not take it the night before surgery... you will up poopin all night. I only drank a 1/2 bottle and have been in the bathroom all day
