I am a 36 year old mother of 3 great kids, girlfriend to the best man I know, sister to 2 awesome women, and daughter to the two best parents in the world. I have been overweight since birth I think...lol. I was a chubby toddler, and stayed that way until I had my first child, and turned into a fat woman! Before pregnancy I was 187 pounds at last memory. When I went in to give birth, I weighed 324 pounds. Ridiculous right? I was on bed rest for 7 of the 9 months.. what's a hormonal, bored, pregnant woman to do?? My sister had lapband 2 years ago last month. She has done pretty well, and I can safely admit that I have been jealous of her transformation. I researched different methods of surgical weight loss aid, and after talking with my surgeon, was certain I wanted the sleeve. I've never been smaller than a size 12-14 in my entire life. I'd be thrilled at a 10! I can wait 2-3 years for it to happen, and will happily wait to see that end result! I've been a size 22-24 for the past 17 years, it's time for a change. I'm looking forward, eyes wide open, and no looking back.
