There's NO place like the North East USA for Fall foliage. (MHO) It is truly God's canvas and He is feeling extremely artistic this year.

@kmorri---have you told your hubby that you invited me go along with you to the Great Smoky Mts??? How did he take the news? Overjoyed, wasn't he?

We did walk a bit but between my dad's bad back and knee as well as my posture changing it was difficult. We barely made it to a waterfall. We did cover 168 miles and only 2 of those were freeway. Most were gravel roads.
