Good news? The platinum/diamond ring that John made for me just before his suicide fell off my hand in the pool today. Thankfully, two goggled men found it for me on the bottom of the pool. Today would have been John and my 15th anniversay. Is this a sign to "let go", or just that my hands are shrinking?

I totally agree with @Bluesky1 let it go WHEN you are ready, no judging here ((((HUG))))

I am so sorry. Tough reminder of harsh times. Thank goodness for well timed goggled men, though. You have grit and backbone. Take that ring and put in on a necklace and be proud of what you have done with yourself and remember the good times and know that future good times are ahead. I agree fully on the "Thank God for BP friends". I'm alive and well because of some of them.

OK, so now I'm in tears. --good tears for new found friends and feeling humbled by their compassion for a perfect stranger. I keep saying, "Thank you", because right now I lack the verbiage to express my gratitude. I'll get through these reminders of days gone by. At least now I am allowing myself to feel them. I am no longer pushing my memories deep within and not dealing with them. One at a time, I am facing each painful memory as they reappear. Sooner or later they have to end---don't they?
