Words can do more damage than physical violence because they scar the soul not just the skin.I wish people would remember that.

Not to be argumentative, but physical violence scars the soul far more than the skin. And unlike violence, words can only hurt you if you let them.

CHM, my friend, When you are as ancient as I, you will find that physical scars will eventually harden and numb to the touch. Wounds to the soul caused by someone else's cruel and hurtful words are "ever bleeding" .
