My dr. told me that leaks are highly unlikely after the staple line has healed, could be up to 3 months in some people for full healing. But very unlikely after 48 hours. That's why they do the leak test right after and before you go home.
I've heard of undoing an RNY but revising... I don't know what that would entail.

I bought a bag of frozen edmame in the podt. I followed the directions to boil in slightly salty Water for 5 minutes. They are wonderful! I will be buying this regularly now. Anyone else? And what do you use them for other than snacking by themselves?

No really, I haven't noticed any memory loss. In fact I was much more of a scatterbrain during my pregnancies than I am now.

You should get this checked out. I was having flutterings/palpitations and got it checked. Turns out I have premature atrial contractions which are not dangerous but just annoying. They are usually not associated with heart disease, just something that happens in a lot of people who are otherwise healthy. There were annoying enough that I elected to take medicine for it. I take metaprolol. It's cheap and I take 2 a day.
If I hadn't went to the cardiologist and got checked out I would be very stressed out and worried. Do yourself a favor and get it checked. Better safe than sorry.
And btw, this had nothing to do with the surgery. I was having episodes way back before surgery, but they had stopped for a while.They just came back after surgery but I don't believe it had anything to do with it.

I saw that episode too. I think it's going to take more than caraway seeds for that lady to get where she wants to be.
But each person has their own path they need to find. I wish them well but I feel that Dr. Oz makes it sound way too easy with all his quick miraculous fixes and just take this pill recommendations. If I took everything he recommends I would go broke from buying it and do nothing all day but take pills and supplements. But he is nice to look at.

You may not be at goal but you sure have accomplished a lot! Keep it up, you will get there in no time.

Wow! Congratulations, how long ago did you have the surgery? Do you have before and after pictures? Any tips you recommend to people who are about to have the surgery

Oh honey, don't feel bad. You're just beginning! I'm at 100 lbs. down now and I just am starting to think I look better in clothes. I started in size 24 and now I'm in 16. But it took several months before I needed a new size. My old clothes were mostly stretchy so I was just not stretching them as much but could still wear them.
Don't get down. You're doing great. Just think - that's 67 lbs. that you wouldn't have lost otherwise and it only gets better. Measure and take pictures. You will be amazed in a few months!

Not to goal yet but still going in the right direction!

My fave is Syntrax nectar chocolate Truffle. The fruit flavors were good to me right after surgery, I just mixed with Water. I might order another sampler and experiment with smoothies by adding fruit and ice.
I like the Body fortress from Walmart but it is a little gritty at the end.

I'm jealous of all the folks that say they're a cheap drunk now! It hasn't affected me that way. I had the first glass of white wine at 8 weeks and I didn't get drunk. I had liquor at 10 weeks and didn't get drunk. Now I can have a few drinks in an evening and it does the same as it did before surgery. I get a buzz but not drop down drunk. Not that I want to ever get drop down drunk! Guess it just shows that we are indeed all different.

OK, I can now see this thread was started by either a troll or someone who is so far up their own butt that they can't see daylight. He responds to the people trying to be funny or mean but doesn't acknowledge people honestly trying to be helpful.
