  1. How can you wake up one morning and weight 150.2... get all upset, depressed, feel like you have completely failed because you said you would never get over 150 again.... then wake up the next morning and weight 147.3? I wanted to throw the dang scale through the wall yesterday. I really thought it was a glitch... but weight myself 4 times in different spots in the bathroom to make sure it really was 150.2. Every time same reading.... This morning I did the same thing.... same reading of 147.3. I think I'm going crazy
  2. I'm so happy for you! It is 100% worth it! Good luck tomorrow and I will be sending prayers for a fast recovery!

First time in years I didn't hide behind anyone in the photos. I'm loving my life again!
  4. I was on it for migraines. OMG! I hated this stuff but I had no migraines.lol I had joint pain in my knees to the point I couldn't walk and thought I was going to die but not Migraines. Oh I also couldn't think through a whole sentence while I was on it either and lost 0lbs. When I found out that it was making my knees hurt... I did quit cold turkey and threw those things away! Now that I have lost over 80lbs... no more migraines . Amazing how that works. I think it was just the spikes in my blood pressure that cause them in the first place. I would ask for something else. Just saying.
  5. I do eat nuts! I love them and to curb my salty sweet craving with the salt. But I have just re-started doing that again. I know the process but sometimes forget to keep my eye on the ball sort of.lol I will have to say though... without the sleeve I would have already sky rocketed my way back up and I know I have to still watch what I eat and stuff I just can't eat as much. I LOVE this sleeve and it will help me with these last 10 lbs. I have faith!!!
  6. Yes ma'am, that's the plan. Basic's is what I need. I hate that we have a vending machine in our building too. I used the excuse of needing some energy to go get something really bad for me. The truth is that after an hour or so I crash land and start feeling worse than before. So back to the basic's it is.
  7. Ok. So I have had a number of things going on lately.... Had my VSG Aug 4, 2011. So almost 9 months out. I have been bouncing between 146 and 149 for the last 3 months..... because.... or I think it's because.... I have had some major stress going on. In less than a year I have had 3 surgeries. VSG.. Gallbladder.. and then the tumor on my leg removed just recently. It has all stressed me out because of work and leave time and hoping I haven't made anyone upset about the time off. Anyway. Oh and not to mention my wonderful boyfriends welding business tanked and we have been dealing with that. So.... everything has calmed down now and I ready to get at least 10 more lbs down! I am waiting just a few more days to make sure my incision area is completely healed on my leg before I start working out again but I'm ready. I have to admit that I had been drinking beer pretty often also but have almost completely stopped that altogether. Yay! Go me. I haven't been eating all that great either with all the stress. It's like right before my TOM but all the time. I am happy I have maintained where I am with everything and I know I said I would be happy if I didn't lose another pound but the truth is I still have some work to do. I would like to get a tummy tuck and if they don't have to do lipo it's A LOT cheaper. I can also see a boob lift coming into my future as well. That is of course if I can save up some leave time.lol I come here most everyday and everyone on this site is so very inspiring! Thank y'all for your support this far into my journey.
  8. Lots of prayers coming your way!

Yep... What she said. Sometimes just switching will help too.
  10. Great job! I know it feels great knowing you are a healthier you! Congratulations!
  11. Absolutely Amazing! This is the best thing (tool, courage to make the decision, choice) that could have ever happen to anyone of us! Congratulations!!!
  12. Thank you. I know I have paid a lot of money and never used it until this year. I will be glad to get rid of this thing on my leg. It sure isn't pretty and more people are asking about it since I feel more comfortable wearing shorter shorts.
  13. Yay! Not really. I had to go the my PCP yesterday for a head cold/sinus infection/the flu, and just let him know that I have this knot on my upper thigh. So what does he do? Set me up for surgery tomorrow morning. I'm sure it is just a fat tumor that needs to come out but it has been hurting lately so I guess but do it now. But really???? Three surgeries in less than a year... I bet my insurance is loving me right now.lol
  14. Yep.. You have to be ready for this. I struggled with the loss of food and not being able to eat for a while but as soon as I started feeling better physically .... then mentally hands down, best choice I ever made. I have never regretted doing this.
  15. You don't even look the same. That is an amazing transformation!
  16. Wait..... I'm sorry... I really don't mean this to sound ugly at all.... but you had 85% of your stomach removed but you won't have something 1) that you don't need and 2) that could kill you taken out?
  17. I had my gallbladder taken out three months ago. I had over 40 gallstones and one lodged and caused infection that was terrible. The pain was so bad. I won't tell you what to do but more than likely more stones will come and you don't want that pain.
  18. Good luck! Prayers coming your way!
  19. Done 10 lbs. Was hoping to be at goal but I can say I am really happy where I am.
  20. Weight will fluctuate guys. I'm almost 9 months out and go up and down between 2 to 4 lbs all of the time. make sure you get your water in. It does help. Start moving and you will notice the difference! Good Luck!

  22. A hot cup of coffee always helps get things going for me.
  23. I was the same way too! Not one since! Once my blood pressure was stable no more! I had them at least 2 times a week right before and the more I gained the worse they were. Thank goodness it's all over with now! Yay! Hope this will be the same for you!
  24. I had the same problem but once the hormones leveled out and I stopped taking the antibiotics for the terrible Bladder infection I had, I haven't had one since. It's good to know there is a good home remedy out there Lexsan! Thanks.
