soon to be skinny

Hi its day 13 for me, the first 4 day I thought I was dying! I was so sick. Came out of surgery with the dry heaves talk about hurt. Stayed one night in hospital was on mushies when I left. Every day really does get better, hang in there. Warm chicken broth really helps. Or warm cream soups!

June !st I'm scared and excited! Wont sleep a wink tonight. Will let all the June sleevers know how it goes! Take care!

Hi Kara, hope everything goes good. I live in Alabama now but I'm from Appleton Wisconsin. See they had bunch of snow other day. Maybe spring is on the way it sure is here.

Hoping for May 23rd find out next tuesday for sure. Now I'm getting nervous. Having sleeve done in Decatur Alabama.

See if Cato's has online store they have some really nice stuff and the carry plus sizes and misses. There prices are great..

No plan B have my heart set on the sleeve! If you don't mind how much did surgery end up costing? And where did you have it? Thanks.

Can't wait to hear something. To beable to wear skinny jeans or maybe tuck in my shirts again. When will you try to have surgery? I work in the lunchroom at school so I want to have surgery at end of school year. Let me know when you find something out.

Hello, just starting jumping thur all the hoops to get approved. Seeing a dietitan monthly tell surgery is scheduled, done alot of blood work, had my gallbladder ultrasound and mammogram. Had my visit with psychiatrist and passed! Now waiting to see if Empire BC/BS will cover the sleeve. Don't know what I will do if they don't. I know I dont want to have bypass or lap-band. I know I have to get my weight down and I really think the sleeve is my best chance. It still really scares me some night I can't sleep just thinking about if I get approved. I lay there thinking about how much pain I will be in. What if it takes me forever to recover. So many what ifs!! If I do get approved I plan on having surgery end of May. Hope I don't lose to much sleep between now and then. Good luck to everyone here!

Hi, waiting to see if Empire BC/BS will cover sleeve. Doctor's office keeps telling me they won't. Finally got them to file paper work so we will see.

Hi have they done alot of sleeves? Seeing a doctor in Decatur, he hasn't done alot of sleeves. I like him, but if I'm going to do this I want the best! How long were you in hosipital? How long did it take for you to get back in the swing of things?

Hi I'm researching VSG and wondering if anyone has been sleeved by Dr. Suggs? I'm really scared but need to lose weight. Was considering Lap-Band but after reading about it know its not right for me.
