  1. Hello Friends. I am sorry to say that my insurance co. turned me down for the Sleeve.....I am not heavy enough!!! Go figure. A real bummer, I was so excited. They are going to talk my surgeon tomorrow to get me changed over to gastric bypass which is what I initially thought I was getting. Please say a prayer for me that I get this one approved Thanks to all and many blessings Judy
  2. Hello everyone. I am a newbie here on the forum. I am scheduled for the sleeve surgery on 2/1/11. I am concerned about losing, ie like it may not work. I have been on pre op diet and exercise and havent's lost a pound. I am a nurse and pretty much know what is going to happen. Did anyond else out there not lose a whol lot before surgery, but after the sleeve you began to lose? Just need some reassurance that it will work. thanks sl much
  3. Hello everyone. I am to be sleeved on Feb 1 2011 pending in surance approval. I was a little disappointed that my surgeon changed his mind from gastric bypass to VSG. But since reading all the sucess stories here, I feel that it may be a better choice. I have at least 110 lbs to lose and I hope this is the only procedure I have to have. Please let me know if I can accomplish this wieght loss ith this surgery. Beat of Luck to all.....Judy
