  1. I wore the same size because the pants I was wearing were tight to begin with. They eventually became loose but I could still fit them. I'll bet if you go to the store and try on a smaller size then it will fit. Also, my tummy is the largest area on me so pants are much more loose in the rear and legs than in the tummy area.
  2. Good deal.....that's my kinda pricing!
  3. I have been at 167 since the end of October. I was 167 this morning when I woke up. I was also in a 12 but I can now fit a size 10 pant comfortably.
  4. Congrats on your decision! You'll be on the loser's bench really soon.
  5. Congratulations on the weight loss and the upcoming marriage. I think it is too soon to purchase a dress because you are still losing. I do think that it will not hurt to go "looking" that way you can see what's out there and pick a style you may like. If you have a style you may like, then it may be easier to find a dress to purchase with so little time left depending on how long you wait to purchase.
  6. My iron was 10 the day before my surgery so we (me and my husband) made the decision to go ahead with the surgery as I knew having a blood transfusion could have been a possibility anyway if something went wrong. Before I could leave the hospital, I had to receive 2 bags of iron via iv. I take iron pills daily and my iron has tested normal since.
  7. I have heard of people sharing a membership to help with the costs.
  8. The Spinach and Feta Cheese burgers are delish too!
  9. https://www1.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog/group/77102/ Yes Whey Protein Shots No collegan or gelatin on the label. It says 100% whey protein.
  10. I'm still dealing with stomach issues too. I need a smaller sized pant cause 12's are too big in the rear and legs but I can't button the smaller size without a huge muffin top. I definately feel your pain. My stomach was the largest fatty area so it has the most fat to lose so that's why it seems like it's still just lingering around. The other areas didn't have that much fat so those areas are much slimmer first. Hope this makes sense, I'm sleepy.
  11. Hang in there, everyone stalls or goes through an adjustment period. I am 5 months post op and I've been stalled since October.
  12. Unjury protein powder has instructions not to put it in liquids over 140 degrees so maybe this will apply to all protein powders.
  13. I'm 167 and 5'6" and I wear a M top and 12 pant. I carried most of my fat in my tummy area so if it was smaller I would be in a 10. I lost mostly all of my rear so 12's fit my waist but are saggy in the rear.
  14. https://www1.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog/group/77102/ These are 100% whey.
  15. I get hiccups once I've had enough to eat like a warning to stop eating. I was on zofran and another nausea medication but I can't remember the name of it. I had nausea for about two months and a half months.
  16. There are tons of YouTube videos about slipping and eroding, that's what changed my mind.
  17. Thanks for posting. Good article.
  18. Congratulations! I wish you much continued success.
  19. Before wls, I would gain up to 5 or 6 pounds but now I lose at least 1 pound if I don't stay the same. I have been recording this since the month after my surgery because I thought it was strange especially since I ALWAYS gained before. I'm not complaining but it's weird to me.
  20. Congrats on the awesome loss! That's a great accomplishment.
  21. Congratulations on getting a date! It won't be long now until you're on the loser's bench.
  22. Sleeved July 18 at 216 lbs. I weighed in at 169 this morning and my hair is coming out too.
  23. Congrats on the loss!
  24. Congrats on your loss! You're looking great.
