  1. We were sleeved the same day. I have been taking a pain pill at bedtime along with a melatonin. Sleeping somewhat. You should see my bed though...It looks like a little boys fort (haha). I have SOOOOO many pillows in there, and I try not to move them as I crawl back into bed at night. Good Luck, it seems to be getting better. I am having difficulty getting the fluids in. How much can you drink at a time, before you know it's too much??
  2. Looking good girl! We are always the hardest on ourselves. Keep up the good work!!!
  3. I was sleeved the same day. (3/8) Still having trouble getting in the fluids. My Dr said I may only get in 8 - 12 ounces during the first week, but everyone else seems to be doing so much better. I will take a sip or two and then in about five minutes have this tightening in my stomach. Can't tell if it's gas hungry or doesn't like the fluids or the size drink I took?!?!?!? It's all wearing on the nerves. Other than that, feeling good. Have you had the tightness I'm talking about?
  4. I had my surgery on Tuesday, (day after you) and I am still suffering from the daily headaches as well. I think it is from the sugar free stuff?!? Who knows. I had a rough first two days, but am starting to rebound now, and feeling pretty darn good. Had pudding today, and you would have thought I was getting a steak : ) So happy to have something with some substance. Continue to heal... I did get a drain, and go back Monday to have it removed. All in all a good experience. The worst was the nausea.
  5. I feel the pain. One more day of the liquid diet for me.... Have struggled with a headache for a week. All in all it WILL be worth it.
  6. Glad things went well for you!!! Little pain is really exciting for me to hear. As I count down the days until my surgery (3/8). I would imagine there is always weight gain with the IV fluids. Keep us posted on how you are feeling. QueenBee
  7. Right there with ya! Started on the pre op liquid diet today, and as you said...so far - so good! Looking forward to getting to the surgery part, and seeing the pay off. Just put some Crystal Light in the freezer for a little "dessert" later. : ) I was so surprised at how salty the broth's could be. Will replenish with "low" sodium. Awaiting an order of the Unjury Chicken broth. Good Luck girl. Looking forward to going through this adventure with you.
  8. Such exciting news!!! Starting my Pre-Op diet today. You inspire me!!! Congrats!
  9. Enjoy it girl! Maybe he is seeing how hard you are working, and wants to compensate in some way! Happy Valentines day, and hope he keeps it up : )
  10. Would love to get a copy. New to the board, and scheduled surgery for March. EMail: rbrock6@cfl.rr.com Thank you
