  1. Hi All, I have pain in my chest, right shoulder, and have no restriction whasoever when I did before. Any ideas on what this might be? I caled the doctor's office. The PA called me back and I was unable to answer. I then called her back and now I am not able to get in touch with her. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! I am scared.:cursing:
  2. Hi there! I was also banded last May and am 10 weeks pregnant today! yay! I am also having trouble eating enough. My doc says I am doing fine though and baby is fine as well. I can't seem to eat enough to keep from feeling tired and nauseous. I just keep nibbling all day! It feels weird to eat all the time though. Glad to hear you are doing well! Have you had an unfill? I was considering asking for one, but I'm not sure how that will work. Meltini
  3. I am so happy for you. You are awesome indeed for meeting your goal! Thanks for all the great info! Good Luck to you and your new family. I will talk to my surgeon. Keep me informed on how you are doing! Thanks,
  4. Thanks for the info! I will talk to my surgeon to clarify. My OB doctor did talk about agressively controlling nausea with a prescription also.
  5. I am wondering, will Aspirin/Ibuprofen cause damage to a my stomache?:help:
  6. Does anyone know if it is OK to vomit from morning sickness or any other stomacha ailment? I am worried about this. We are trying to get pregnant and I am curious.:help:
  7. Does anyone know if vomiting is "allowed" after Lap Band? What if I become pregnant and have morning sickness?
  8. Thanks for the info! I wondered if that's what it was. Thanks!
  9. I am wondering the same thing- What is the lump in the back of my throat? Does anyone know?
  10. I have the same the same thing and am wondering why!!
  11. Glad to hear you are doing betterTerri!
  12. Thanks Cindy! You made me feel better! My fill is not until July, so I guess I'll have to toughit out until then. Best of luck to you!!
  13. Wow Juli! Your weight loss is impressive and you could not be more right about what you said. We must get our heads in the right place first. I too keep a food diary-just a small pocket notebook, that I write everything down in. I do not deny my self, but keep small portions. This way I do not feel like I am missing out. I do NOT hower use that as an excuse to eat bad all day. I use the 80/ 20 rule along with smaller portions and keeping track of my calories. I eat no less than 80% healthy food and NO more than 20%. Like tonight I snuck in the pizza- but I was able to because I ate good all day and was well under my calorie intake for the day. The pizza was the only questionable thing I ate all day. The rest was a bannana, yogurt, salad, Water, coffe-no cream or sugar, apple sauce, crystal light drink mix. So you are totally right Juli! Good luck with your continued weight loss. Fells good to be a looser doesn't it?!
  14. I think it's because I have not had a fill yet, that I can eat pizza. I think after my fill I will get a BIG surprise and will not be able to do that. But I sure would like to hear from an experienced bandster too! So far nothing I have encountered has been that bad before during and after surgery, but I'm not that far post op. So far so good Indigo! I wish you well in whatever you choose!! :-)
  15. Faith, Thanks for the reply! I thought I was nuts, but I guess it just takes time to find that "sweet spot" as you put it. No, I'm truely hungry with the stomach rumbling and all. When It's head hunger, I know because I can turn that off. I tell my self "You went through all of this trouble, don't you dare eat out of head hunger!" And that seems to work on that portion. Did the whole hungry thing happen to you too?
