  1. Hi Melissa. I'm 5-3, was 202# at my sleeve surgery 6 days ago. I'm back at work since Monday, feeling pretty good. Can't say its easier than what other people experienced, but I'm feeling pretty good. My surgery was last Thurs. I flew to San Diego on Weds, flew home on Sunday, back at work for a 1/2 day on Monday, and full day yesterday, and full time from here on out. It would have been lovely to take a little more time off, but I don't have that kind of flexibility in my job, and its really working out fine. Danae
  2. Hi there. I hear we get a chance to meet others while we are there. At least walking the halls after surgery? Its good to know I've got company.... Danae
  3. I am new to this list, just made my appointment for surgery on the 16th. I have about 80# to lose (that is such a funny number to post. I haven't been at that weight since, maybe, middle school???). Can't quite believe it is possible yet, but I'm open to being surprised... And I'm a little nervous now. I have to travel (to Dr. Acevas) alone, as we have adopted a little girl who doesn't yet have a passport so can't go to Mexico. So my partner will be staying home with her. I know other people do it alone, but I wish it wasn't so.
