  1. July 12 is my date. No pre-op diet for me, but I have cut back on amount of food. I am anxious to get thin again. I lost all my weight with my Band (which I love), but have esophagus problems, so the Band was emptied a few years ago. All my weight has returned and I'll have to start from scratch. Dr. Gomez in Miami is my doctor. Jill
  2. My surgery date is Monday, July 12. I was Banded in May 2002 and lost most of my weight. At some point my Band slipped and saline was removed and remained that way until I was able to revise to the Sleeve. My current insurance company approved me and surgery was scheduled right away. Unfortunately during the time of the Slip and now, I have regained all my weight, plus a little extra. Good luck to everyone facing surgery. Jill
  3. As far as I know, I am having it all done at once, which is Monday!! My Band will be removed, hiatal hernia repaired and then the Sleeve....at least that is my hope. Jill
  4. My doctor does not require a pre-op diet, but I've been cutting back on the amount of food anyway. I realize that after healing from surgery I will be able to eat regular food again, just in very, very small portions, so I am not worrying about a last hurrah. However, if I did have a last hurrah, it would be Sushi. Jill
