  1. Hi Dr. Jossart. I have a one-year-old daughter and am considering vsg after a life long obesity problem. I was wondering about restrictions and healing time after surgery. Is it common for mothers of very young children to have vsg? Is there a suggested waiting period? As the primary hands on care giver, I am concerned with practical issues such as when I would be able to pick up my daughter and carry her for extended periods of time. Thanks, Angie
  2. Hi, my name is Angie. I'm a 34-year-old mommy of a beautiful one-year-old girl. My question is about surgery after giving birth. Has anyone had vsg while caring for a baby or very young child? I'm wondering about things like how that will affect my recovery, when I will be able to pick her up etc., and resume all the physical tasks that having a very little one entails. I'd love to hear from anyone who has gone through this. Thanks!
