  1. goodlife, you are not alone...that is the same post-op diet my bf is on too! He was also sleeved on 4/28. But, the good news is that he has not been hungry. At least nothing that jello or s/f popsicle didn't satisfy.
  2. thanks for the tip on flavoring the pain meds...doc told bf he could "cut" it with a little bit of water, but he still says how nasty it is. Glad to see that the sleeve group of 4/28 is doing good!!!
  3. BJean...He is a little nervous, but his is more over the actually surgery itself. He has never had surgery of any type, (still has his tonsils and wisdom teeth...lol)! I think I'm more concerned about the nausea and pain...I don't like that I won't be able to do much to make him feel better. I've read A LOT so I think I'm prepared, got the liquid tylenol, the Gas-X strips, chewable vitamins, a pill crusher, pepcid, etc....I think I have it all covered, lol. Keep me updated!! :tongue_smilie:
  4. I compared the two websites size charts and it appears that a size 5 would be right between a 20/22 at Old Navy, on average. With the new sizing at LB the measurements vary just a little depending on what color fit, yellow, red or blue.
  5. My bf is having surgery on 4/28 also. I've been the one looking up info and taking notes on what's the "best" tasting proteins, the "best" antiacid, etc. He doesn't have the time to read the forums. I've shared everything I've read on here with him, it has helped us both, a lot. Although I am not the one being sleeved, I am going to do the post-op diet with him. I feel we will both be successful by being a team!!
