  2. Thanks everyone for your support, it feels good to know that I always have someone to talk to. Keithville,LA is right outside of Shreveport, LA. It's good to see some another Southern Girl on here. Will keep everyone posted..
  3. I had my six week post-op visit with my doctor and everything went well. He was pleased with my progress. I have lost 39 pounds since my surgery. I am pleased and ready to start shopping for new clothes. Pre-op I was wearing a size 22W and the last time I bought some clothes they were a 14/16. So I am starting to see some progress. I will keep everyone posted. I will add pictures soon.!!

Can you ever drink Coke or Diet Coke after having a sleeve? I am dying for a Soda!!
  5. I had my Sleeve done on Feb. 24, I had to spend the night in the hospital since I lived so far away. I felt ok afterwards, but still kinda sore. I have been burping a great deal and that is the only uncomfortable feeling that I really have. I don't really have a appetite, but I know that will probably change. I'm still kinda tired but I know that it should get better as time goes by. My doctor told me to not worry about protein the first week. I just wonder if I will ever get rid of this burping!!
  6. I finally have a date for my VSG. It is scheduled for March 3, 2010. I am so excited, but also very nervous. I have received a lot of information about diet and exercise, so I am a little overwelmed. I start my diet Feb. 17th, and I am very nervous about that. I want to follow every rule so that I get the full effect of my surgery. I will keep everyone posted.
