@Cupcake, I can't blame you. I really want skin removal and I will probably do the same thing! Haha

@CowgirlJane I am doing fine. I have had several surgeries not related to WLS and on top of that had to have my sleeve revised to the Bypass because the GERD was literally killing me. But since then I have been good, except I have to stay more diligent with my vitamins and supplements. As long as I'm doing that, I'm doing good! I am a little above my goal but as I always do I am working on me. My next adventure will be TAKING MY FINAL STEPS! To get skin removal. I am hoping that can happen soon. Xx

LilMissDiva Irene besides having Rny this has been the best decision I have ever made with all of the weight lost and my Tummytuck with muscle repair has allowed me to become a gym nut. I workout 6 days a week for 70 minutes a day . I have received so many compliments and encouragement from friends and strangers . Who would have ever thought I could feel so good. Going from a size 32-36 pants to a 8-10 has been unbelievable . I am thinking about a breast lift now but don't know for sure but I do see it in my future in about another year .

The good news is. the longer you are in the WLS community, the easier it is to ignore inflammatory posts and people.

@Jim1967 that is only partially true for myself. I've been around since 2007 and though I started here with LBT then over the years I have branched out to Facebook or Instagram more. I do still come here occasionally and mostly chat with the very new folks looking for support or newly operated. I don't divulge conversation in the Lounge and especially R&Rs. I am solely here for support while remembering we were all new at one time.

Negativity is like cancer. Keep feeding it and letting it fester and it grows. It's also like fire, touch it and you get burned. Stay positive in your journey! Enjoy the scenery.

Happy New Year! May your 2015 be full of hope, promise and good health.

Happy December! Hopefully you are staying on track as best you can. I'm doing pretty good here!

Today I am thankful for a normal beating heart.

What you do today will reflect in the future. Make better decisions today for a better tomorrow.

What are you thankful for today?

WLS will HELP you overcome your food addictions, but you must first help yourself.

Wednesday will be an extra special occasion for me regarding my journey to health. Stay tuned!

Always speak victory in your journey! Work hard and never lose faith and you WILL make it happen.

There will be some people whose jealousy will be apparent even though they try to mask it. We just have to shrug it off and keep living for ourselves. <3

I am learning and experiencing the same thing, people who I thought of a friends now see me as a threat and I am still the same person and still have 88 pounds to loose, some of them have even started making excuses as to why we are not hanging out anymore and some have gained excessive amount of weight and look at me like I am crazy for going to the gym 5 days a week. I am just going to stay focus on my healthy and do me.

The WLS is not all or nothing, black and white nor all good or all bad. Most is what you make of it and the rest is left to chance.

You haven't failed until you give up. You'll never fail if you never give up.

Do you find you have more energy post op than you did before surgery?
