    Port flip?

My port is never in the same position. Usually takes a few pokes before he finds the sweet spot for it it. I've had about five fills now and it still freaks me out every time. LOL. Thank goodness for the numbing spray!

    Loss of my Dad

Sorry for the loss of your Father. I'm sure he is proud and loves you so much.
  3. I think mine is tilted too. It look him 3 pokes before he got it. I swear it moves, sometimes I can feel it to the far right of my belly button and then sometimes very close to my belly button almost like in it, kinda freaky. Hoping my 2nd fill only takes one poke.

1st fill & still feel hungry.

Same here. Finally got my first fill two weeks ago, lost five pounds but now just seem to be trying to maintain. It's driving me crazy!
  5. Thank you! Feeling great, but ready for the band to be filled. I still have three more weeks before he will fill it. Having a hard time staying on track right now. Send some good vibes my way!
  6. I will be thinking about you tomorrow, sending you well wishes!

    Any may banders

I am now 5 days out from surgery. I was really nervous about the IV so of course I get the nurse that's grouchy and can't find my vein, after two tries in my hand I told her no more try in my arm, so she had another nurse come over who saved the day popped it right in. Luckily, I did not have to have the heparin shot that I have heard others had, super big relief to me. When I woke up after surgery my tongue was killing me, I assume at some point having the tube jammed down my throat I must have bite my tongue somehow, it was kind of gruesome looking. I had shoulder pains but only in my left shoulder, wow was it bad! Shoulder pain went away around day 4 totally gone, yay! Dr. said to remove the adhesive and that was scary, but after 20 minutes in the shower and a few meltdowns it was all off. I have not had many problems yet thank goodness. But I have grown to hate sugar free Popsicles. LOL. All the advice on here about walk as soon as possible truly helped Me I believe. Still discomfort in my incision areas, but I think by next week...I'll be a new woman. : )

    Any may banders

I am getting my band on May 21st. I am freaking out because my surgery was scheduled for the 28th and found out yesterday they can't do it on that date and have the 21st available, or towards middle end of June. Prayers needed. Needles freak me out.
  10. I am getting banded on May 21st by Dr. Uchal. Nervous!
