  1. Where is everyone????
  2. CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!! THEY ARE THE ONE WHO YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO!!!! Aspirating into your lungs can be bad bad news....good luck to you!!
  3. 106.5 pounds down here...just happy to have found this great tool in my life...
  4. My biggest challenge has been to see the amazing job I have done so far, and not put myself down. Sometimes, you still see the same old body and think the same old thoughts of yourself. Its weird. It is like body dysmorphia....it must be what happens with anorexia.
  5. You are doing just fine. Just give it some time. The weight will come off. Good luck!!
  6. Good luck to you with your band!!!! You will do great!!
  7. This is the one I hate now more than ever.....one of my aunts says to me(everytime I see her) "geeshhh, your not gonna lose any MORE weight are you????" I am thinking, "why, you already jealous??" I don't know why people even open their mouths.
  8. I guess I didn't do the figuring right with dailyplate. I can consume 1300 calories a day to lose 3 pounds a week. Oh, well, good thing I figured it out, I would have been gaining at 2200 a day!!!!! Although thats probably what I have been eating, and why I am not losing.
  9. I am having some of the same issues as the other posters. The first 80 pounds flew off with hardly any help from me. I was losing extremely fast. Then since November 07, I have only lost 27 pounds. I also see the same thing on my scale as far as being low one day and then next time looking like I gain 10 pounds....the next few days are back down to the low number again. I cycle 130 miles a week, averaging 16-19 mph, so I am buring mega calories.... I have less than 30 pounds to go to reach my personal goal(less than 50 to reach doctors), and it just is hard. But, as long as I don't gain the weight back I guess I will take it. Good luck to you!!!
  10. Well, the first question is, are you eating small small bites and chewing really really good??? Meat seems to be hard for some to eat and not for others. Hopefully you can figure out a way to eat it safely, without throwing up, I mean. You do not want to keep doing that. Talk to your doctor about is and see if they have any suggestions. Good luck to you!!
  11. Didn't get any riding in last night. The wind was blowing super hard. Today is really really cloudy with nasty looking clouds....hope they go away
  12. After checking out everything, we decided not to go this year. The price for the event is great, it is the rooms and the gas and food that is bad. Maybe next year!!
  13. I kinda like the daily....everything I put in is there....sparks didn't seem as good when I tried it a year ago... Oh, and DH wants me to check out prices and such for MuddyBudyy in CO...he wants to do!!! This year!!!!!!! I will let you know...I am going to check right now....

  15. Oh, and I joined the dailyplate today. I will track for this week and next and see if I can lose some weight. I will track everything going in my mouth. It says I can eat 2200 calories to lose 2 pounds a week, with all the exercise I do....we will see. I WILL do this for two weeks. I promise. There, now I HAVE to do it... Hey, where is ZZ??????
  16. Who's, I wanted to tell you how very awesome you have done and HAPPY BANDIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't want it to get lost on your other thread you started, but you have done the absolute best ever on your weight loss. And they say only gastric bypass can produce that kind of results.....I bet they would hate to see you coming...... You are #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deanna

  18. Long, I would, of course, drag you in with me!!!! HAHAHA...yeah, gall bladder surgery and muddybuddy would not be a good mix....maybe next year, huh???? J, you have a mountain bike????????????????????????????? When did this happen???????????? I was told my the exercise physiologist that road biking is the aerobic and mountain biking is like lifting weights....anaerobic....I think it is true. It is such a different workout going up dirt and rock trails, than sailing down the open road...
  19. Yes, the updated one was really good. I just love that slide show thing!!! I know, he said last night we were going to have to get me together with my friends!!! HP, sorry you couldnt ride....that sucks especially when you really want too!!!!! BG, are you still riding to work everyday???? If so, how is that going???? Well, for the connection thing about weight loss and returning to school, I was already in school when I decided to lose weight. I was having one heck of a time hauling around books from class to class. I got one of those wheelie back packs. Well, that was nice, if you didn't have stairs you had to lug it up. I got a briefcase type bag, that didn't work either. It is soooo much easier to just lose weight then to try to find the right bag!!!!!!! I did get a messenger bag yesterday for this semester. THe guy at the LBS, whom I have gotten to know really really well, told me to get some studded tires for when it snows and ride then too. I don't see that happening, but then again, I never seen what my life is like now either. J, are you planning on any riding soon?????? I know you just couldn't get enough of it a year ago. I know you are super super busy too. Telleth me what happeneth with your biketh???? Is it super sad that it doesn't get to see your butt much anymore????
  20. Yes, you need to breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a whole lot of people who have gone before you, and there will be a whole lot of people who go after you. Realize that this will be the day that you will look back at with the utt most delight!!!!! It is a very very normal to feel weird, out of place, sad, anxious, angry, happy, and a wide variety of other emotions during this time. We all go through it, and it will go away. You have been thinking about this for a long time, why not do something today to take your mind off of it. Go do something for yourself that you love to do(not eat)!!!! Spend some time with yourself and reflect on the person you are going to become!!! Its a great journey that will make you a better, stronger and healthier person!!! Good luck to you!!!
  21. If Mariott is union, then yes, you have to work a certain number of hours to qualify. Sorry this is happening to you. I hope you get it worked out. If I had that kind of cash, I would give it to you!! I refinanced my house to get this surgery. We had a lot of equity in it and I am soooo glad we did. My hubby told me the other night, it was the best money we have EVER spent!!!! 1800 dollars is a lot less than coming up with the 13,000- 20,000 it would cost self pay. Do some research. Contact a someone who deals with labor laws. Good luck to you!!!!
  22. GREAT JOB!!!!! That must feel wonderful!!!
  23. I looked at the slide show again and I showed my hubby. He thinks it looks like a blast too!!!!! The one in Boulder, CO is on the 16th of August I think. Man do I want to go. If I had only known sooner, I could have planned it!!!!! I did contact them and asked if they were planning on have one closer to Idaho, like maybe Salt Lake City, but they said not in the immediate future...sooooooooooooooooo, that sucks..... I went over my season goal last night......I was super pumped and we high-fived at the exact time of hitting it!!!! Now I am over my goal, I guess I will quit riding....... JUST KIDDING!!!!!!
  24. Well, heres the update with the seat. I tilted it forward a little and it was great last night. I went 33 miles and it didn't hurt. Tonight is the test. If I can do it two nights in a row, that it is the real test. HP, I SEE YOUR NAME SIGNED ON HERE, BUT YOU ARE NOT TALKING....WHAT IS GOING ON??????????????????????????? C, that is great that you are going back to school too. WOW, there will be a lot of busy people around here!!! I am graduating in December with an Associates and will take my national exam in January to be a Certified Medical Assistant. I am soooooo excited and really can't wait!!! BG, thats pretty cold with no blanket.....you might want to make a list next time...hahahahaha...put blanket first.....
