It's called a mons lift "mons pubis" and it is usually done at the same time that a Tummy Tuck is performed. It is very common.

This is my last pre-op post. (well. Prob not !). I am on my way to surgical suites to be banded in one hour twenty minutes. The nerves have set in. Tears have started .... It's all good. Just nervous. Will be over soon. ( sooner if I could SMOKE!!! And have a DIET DEW.). But those are of the past.

Lab work done, chest X-ray and EKG signed off on. Meds are at Walgreens. (holy cow they are expensive) pantry stocked and my sitter to arrive on Monday. (mom coming to stay with us for a week, hope enough Vicodin to knock me out!) Tuesday at 12:00 I become a banded woman. Excited, scared, nervous, anxious.... It is all in effect.

Omg i thought it was just me, I've been super bitchy! I'm on day 10 of pre-op diet...been doing good except for the super short fuse!! Hang in there, it will be worth it.

I'm mostly anxious. Just wondering what doctor will say.also I'm. Bit snippy like PMS feeling.. guess that.is.nerves..

Venting...Maybe I'll try just coming on here with a big vent of profanities

Today is the first day of my pre op diet. Seen RD and NP yesterday and talked about realistic weight loss. My goal is to be healthier not "a size 2". However; they said a realistic goal for my pre-op diet is only 5-7 pounds!! Two weeks of sucking shakes for 5 pounds?!?!?! I can do that with milk of magnesia!!!! Lol (that's a joke)
Two weeks from today u become a "band-er"

Call them on a regular basis. I have health alliance (state of il) I called twice in a week. The third call it had just been approved. Less than 2 weeks!!

I have chosen not to tell. My mom, husband and kids ate the only ones who know. I know other family members would show up at my door with milk shakes and crap I don't need "to help me recover" since I can't eat. I also don't need their negativity (someone they know knew someone who had surgery and was walking down the street and a truck fell out of a window and killed them.... Because they had WLS). If asked after surgery, I wouldn't deny it.... But am not advertising. When anyone asks right now, I am having a stomach procedure..... Nothing more.

Today a new day hang in there we can do this
