  1. That sound good! Could you share the recipe?
  2. I don't know about the carbs. My NUT said the Protein has to be 100% whey. I'm not sure why though. Sorry, that wasn't much help.
  3. You look like you are doing great! Congratulations! What do you eat and what kind of exercises do you do if you don't mind me asking.
  4. I'm still preop so this is a NSV. LoL. I've been dieting since mid April and have lost 50 lbs. My 23 yr old daughter hugged me last night and was so excited that both her arms fit around my waist. LOL. It definitely put a smile on my face to see my baby girl so excited for me. : )
  5. Wow, girl!! You are looking great! Do you mind if I ask your starting weight ?
  6. Dannon light & fit greek yogurt blends are good. I believe the banana cream has 7 grams of sugar and 12 grams of Protein. Walmart sells them for $1. I'm still preop but I'm hoping I can handle it after surgery.
  7. I had to pay $586 to surgeon. I'll have a hospital co pay of $17 a day. I'm not sure if I will have other costs.
  8. I understand what you mean. : )
  9. I wouldn't leave the site because of one person. I don't know how to do it but I bet there is a way to block this person if you aren't interested in reading their posts.
  10. Thanks! Ive been on a diet since mid April and have lost 50 pounds. I've been kinda slack lately. I start my 2 week pre op diet on Monday. I'm lucky, it's not a liquid diet. I have 2 shakes and 3 oz lean meat with veggies for supper.
  11. Asheboro NC here. Surgery date is 11/11/13 in Pinehurst with Dr Washington.
  12. Good luck! Yep I guess it is a trade off. I hadn't looked at it that way. LOL.
  13. Yes, so many drs do stuff differently. I will also have to give myself shots to prevent blood clots for 30 days. I'm glad my insurance covered them. It was about $1,000 for 30 shots.
  14. Lol. Not scary, just yucky. I had to drink 32 Ozs of this stuff starting at 6 pm on the 10th. I drank 8 Ozs every 15 mins until it was gone. Then at 9 pm, I started with another 32 Ozs , drinking 8 Ozs at a time until it was gone. I had to stay close to a bathroom the whole evening. It cleans you out before surgery. Congrats on your 80 lb loss! Good luck with your surgery also.
  15. One of the Dr's wives went into labor on Oct 10th around 10 pm. My Dr called after my bowel prep and said he needed to postpone it. I wish she had went into labor BEFORE my bowel prep lol.. I'm not looking forward to that again but at least I know what to expect. We had a hard time working with my schedule and theirs but finally ended up with a new date of Nov. 11th. Thanks for asking. : )
  16. Lol. You're welcome. I may try banana the next time I go shopping at GNC.
